a smart OS should be able to reduce the speed to a lower level... thus consuming less battery. its like your car... if the car is not moving... should the rev be 4000rpm? why should it need to be 4000rpm when its idle?

bro.. when no using of cos idle eg: around 0.x GHz when multi-tasking of cos must hit 1.4GHz like my i5-460m hit 2.80GHz with TB! u heard me?

now u talk car? u xkan wan set 1k rev when u start ur engine v idle mode ma. we set 1.4~1.6k rev to avoid choked.

yeah i feel u. u wanna get ur phone as fast as possible thus give better performance. its just if 1.0 GHz can done the job stable, thus reduce the clock will give u extra battery life. maybe not a lot, but with UC to 1.0 GHz, i can get about 1-2 hours more juice under normal usage compare to 1.2GHz. Cheers

if can't hit 1.4ghz no point get W cos better go for other. juice is not working with c7 on ace. dunno it work with W a not?? what for provide us 1.4ghz cpu but can't hit 1.4. no offense ya just wanna share my thought. y dun use 1.0 ghz that can UC at 0.8 ghz for longer battery mode?

if S2 i might go for non-G version. personally~ if really hit max they should offered gorilla glass + samoled with same price. this what i wish~

the problem with android os is poor battery life. With 1.4GHz clock sure it eats a lot of battery. Thats why i choose to UC, so I can get longer battery life, unless battery life is not ur concern.

battery life i concern but now i wanna know whether it hit 1.4GHz anot? if hit i can play with UC. hoping some1 post the pic for benchmarking.
