Added on November 1, 2011, 11:02 amfor galaxy w for time beings the market one will be ori set... still no ap yet... some SME only one year, and some will be 2 years... they will send a sms after 3 days of purchase for 2 years one... only registered samsung partner (not sure how it work) will get 2 years SME... other non register will sell ori with 1 year warranty from SME... that's what i know so far...

the 1.4 GHz is a overclocked one... as far what experienced, this little baby faster in respond compare to galaxy s (the old one)... smoother and faster... everthing pop faster...

smaller size but very nice to those with smaller hand, especially for lady... 4.0 screen still the best... over than that is too large...

the slcd still not as good as super amoled... the color of the screen abit dull compare to htc screen... i personally dont like samsung lcd screen but their super amoled still the best...

the best phone and value phone one can get for below RM1000...

one more thing, the gps no problem at all... lock within second... not thing to complain... and come with android 2.3.5 and touchwiz 4.0... i really like this phone...

the front facing camera as good as galaxy s... (want to tried video call but my phone low battery)...

one more thing, the speaker just average... still loud but less clarity...

check before buy, if not wrong sms ur serial to samsung... and the box with samsung seal and sme sticker... and from my observation, i didnt spot galaxy W ap yet... all i saw are original set...

not sure bout s plus... i dont own one... i got with me now galaxy w and galaxy s and galaxy s2... so that only i can compare... is normal camera on phone not good at nite even with led... if u want good quality image... dslr always the choice...

just get this phone... every phone have it own problem or pro and con... but for the price, this phone is a super value buy... go try it out... experience it with ur own hand 1st... then u decide to pay for it or not...

from what i understand get it from SEP and u get 2 year SME warranty... for me warranty is a plus, but as long as ori set will be good enough...

cant find any better phone that this with this price, for now... guarantee!!!

of course u got trade off of a decent earpiece, screen and sound quality...

can run samurai II for tegra without problem... smooth, super minor lag...

new competitor come... Xperia neo V... same price with slight slower proc...

gps = on
bluetooth, 3G, wifi = off (only on when needed)

sure battery can last for days... if continue game and video sure wont last day... normal for smartphone...

adreno 205 more power compare to psp (correct me if wrong)...

on gps without open any software require gps wont drain battery... so gps sensor can be on all the time...

yeah, as long no app using the sensor, gps on wont drain battery...

normally i will off the geolocation setting on any app, dont want other track my location...

yeap... for security reason, best off geolocation...

the built was nice... the battery cover used same mechanism as galaxy s... very tight even tighter than galaxy s... unlike galaxy s the material used is softer and more flexible... can be bend easier (i mean the battery cover)...

the screen dont have bold edge though (refer galaxy s), meaning screen protector will be tear off easier... most other brand phone have same design so not a big issue... just personal preference...

no gorilla glass, so becareful, dont drop it face down... else i think most smartphone wont survice heavy drop, unlike the bar phone (even drop from few floors still in tip top condition)...

i not mean better than S... since both plastic i prefer the soft one... plus i dont like case, i use my phone bare... the W cover have bold dots... so mean more durable to scratch and even if scratches still not that visible compare to smooth shinny surface... is actually similar material as ace...

no sp yet... shop that promise free sp for now, they cut their own... not nice... maybe wait for a few week more, right sp will come up...

yeah, smartphone like my second wife...

SGS 2 is harder to tear off... but more depend on how u treat it...

i pretty much have same offer... but i asked them to exclude the memory card... the price RM899 + 2 years SME...

16 GB class 4 cause less than RM100, better for me to get it at com shop...
