Err you got yours already? Any comments on the web browsing? Smooth?

Smooth as in comparing to iphone or SGS II.. No jerkiness and vertical scrolling must be smooth and no lag. Pinch to zoom in/out also must be fluid like ipad 2

Yeah I know. I tried SGS II many times before, surfing lowyat.net or engdaget/gsmarena super smooth. As smooth/fluid as iphone.

Of course I don't expect this phone to be as good as that, perhaps 50% of that will be good already Btw, I tried Galaxy S Plus and it wasn't smooth..

Actually I was aiming for SGSII or Galaxy Nexus but have to really save up a lot for it since they cost a lot more than Galaxy W.

My main concern is actually how well the web browsing performs as this might be my primary use. I like the smoothness and fluidity of scrolling/multi touch pinch to zoom in the SGS II a lot actually, but surprisingly this phone performs similarly! So yeah, most probably going to get this phone perhaps, somewhere early next year. Better for wallet as I need to fund for other stuffs too

And btw TS, would appreciate if you could make a proper main page for this thread

Wasted my time going over to Samsung Store in Gardens Mall, they don't have a Galaxy W demo set But they do have it in the box(for retail perhaps) but the salesperson didn't allow me to test it

Standard price is RM899... but there's a seller in Garage Sales selling at RM888

As long as it performs well in the UI, why bother whether it hits 1.4Ghz or not?
