guys... just wanna ask.. who knows how the speed limit thing works?
it can set to alarm us if we're more & below 80km/h.. we can set the slider.. but how it works exactly?

and i just notice if along highway, it will follow the speed limit stated at the highway.. at intersection where the limit us 50km/h, it will automatically set the speed limit at 50km/h and will play beep sound if we exceed the limit. at 80km/h and 110km/h it will automatically update by itself.. is this working as the same with normal GPS?

New white lumia 710 user here, just asking can we make folder in picture?

Actually we can, just go to where your "camera roll" and "Saved pictures" are, and make a new folder beside it, put your pictures in it and Zune will detect it and you can sync it into your phone no problem.

Just curious about the lifetime of the battery, when using symbian phone I used to charge when it's nearly empty till it's 100% fully charged to make sure battery lifetime is longer. But when changing to windows phone it will always charging also when using usb cable, will this affect the lifetime of the battery?

Should not affect the battery life, i almost never run out of battery by the time i get home at night and i just leave it to charge overnight. So far no problems.

Okay...has anyone else experienced this problem before.

No problems with all the regular app functions, speed, sound and everything all normal. Except that no calls can come in or out. When calling out, it will show the whole dialing thing, but there will be no dial tone and sometimes the call duration timer will start but i wont be able to hear anything. I check cell reception, full bars, My Maxis, all normal.

Only way to solve this is to restart the phone. Then everything returns to normal, calls in and out fine.

Happens to me maybe once a month...

also random self restarts...I might be listening to music while travelling on the LRT and then it will just vibrate and restart. Or at work its just on the table and then it just short vibrate and restart itself...

sigh...time to hard reset i guess

Hi, I'm using celcom prepaid without data plan. I've already download nokia map for nokia drive. But when I tried to open the nokia drive, it keeps on searching the gps positioning. PLiz correct me, but for nokia drive once u have downloaded the map u can use it offline rite?

Look back through this thread (page 10> onwards) and you can find out more about your problem...you most likely got a unit with a defective GPS. I had this problem, so did quite a few others. Only way to solve is to send it back to Nokia Care center for service. Should be no charge if you have valid warranty.

Yes, you can use nokia drive navigation offline.

to 710 user... how u share file to other phone? because my friend just buy it one... and find it so hard to transfer file, need to connect to pc/laptop first than only can transfer the file...

You can try modify Zune's registry file to enable sort of mtp mode

Anyone know any seller selling 710's casing?
