all i know is mozart has 8 megapixel while lumia 710 only 5 megapixel. I'm a mozart user, feels like switching to lumia 710. Not sure on should I switch or not.

better go for 800 instead.

bro, lumia 710 is a good buy...but since you are not in hurry then might as well save more for lumia 800/900

My budget is between 500 to 700 only...

then just downgrade to lumia 610, you get almost the same feeling with some $$$ saved

the only setback for 610 is less ram which is 256 compared to 512 for 710.

add more rm50...as u can get lumia 710 below rm750...

How about second hand lumia 710?

since around ur budget, better don't buy second hand...

The malaysia marketplace have some limitation but u can use other marketplace like singapore

i suggest u go for lumia 800 or 900.. more nicer

i know its diff platform. im a software developer. before this, only been playing with windows mobile 6.5

now, want to try this os for my app.

what i meant by market is based on how many user for windows phone ? is it more people using this platform ?

if you're an app developer , go for 710. (8gb only and cheaper than 800 (16gb))
610 has ram limitation, some apps cannot be opened there.

do you guys experience any screen flickering while on white background? i think my screen is faulty.

its normal for our phone..known issue with all lumia 710's

there were times whereby once i press the power button to activate the screen and the wallpaper seems very slow going up and the tiles also moving in slow motion. this happens once awhile, screen went blank 1 time, have to lock back the screen and repress the unlock button again
