How is the loudspeaker quality? Reading from review at GMSArena only gives it below average.

Seem most of the Nokia store no more stock for free gifts when i call up 2 stores this morning. I dont believe each store got 100 stocks for option 2. Nokia Msia is cheating us. The Curve staff told me only 15 sets for free gifts

jz got my lumia black at maluri jusco, only 1 ppl and me buying lol. but the in-ear earphone there only got blue and white color , no black and red .
meanwhile, playing wit the phone 1st

*btw friendly reminder for those (which not using data plan) getting this phone soon, once u put in ur micro sim, remember to go Setting -> mobile network and disable the Data connection

To be frank... after playing with my lumia 800 for half day..
I still can't get use to screen size and resolution... as my previous 3 phone are on 4.3 and 4.6.. 3.7 is still a bit small...
But overall, it is a sleek phone and smooth UI if compare to my galaxy nexus... will give myself some to get use to the new platform...

I think it's all about getting used to it. I used to have a SE X1 with 3.0" screen (WVGA), and I still can read stuff, browse web LOL! Good thing about smaller screen is one-handed usability. I don't contend that bigger screen gives more comfortable viewing experience though.

No, always use reason and be logical about your purchases. A phone can't make you unique. They may have good points in their bashing, not because they are common.

You'd be surprised how many people just buy a smartphone because it's the 'cool' thing to do. Nowadays phones are like fashion accessories, mesti ikut trend.

I have know countless of people who buy iPhone not for apps, but because everyone has one and they look cool with it. (They barely even know how to operate the phone.) They end up using Facebook, call and SMS only .

I also know a lot of people who buy a BlackBerry for the 'coolness' factor of being a 'business person'. Even though they're just students...

the thing is like this :

I never own a smartphone b4, so when i actually plan to go for Lumia 800, I mention on FB that I will go and Q up at pavilion for the lumia 800.

then there comes the comment from my friends who is using IOS and Android. both actually join force (!) and bash the windows mobile is a piece of crap + no future due to lack of apps and users.

according to them, the usability of win mobile is not practical due to the lack of customization and lumia 800 is not flashable like what can be done by ipon and android phone.

and both of them are so sure that I will be so sorry and regret for getting the Lumia 800 ... T__T

to be fair, their argument do sounds logic enuf cuz what they using now are the mainstream, so for sure the app's are abundant . but does that really makes the Lumia 800 with meego sxxks?

well, i'm using Lumia now, I dont care much but still deep in my heart, i'm not quite sure bout the future of my Lumy...

Reemember that the end call problem is that the UI doesn't show the call is ended, but luckily the actual call has already been ended on the telco side.

The only thing lacking on the WP7 side compared to other OSes are the number of apps/games available.

There's some minor functionalities missing too, but overall, I think WP7.5, iOS5 and Android are relatively on-par with each other. I say this having tried out all the other OSes.

To me, I bought my Lumia because it has a nice build quality, does mostly everything expected of a good smartphone, feels uniquely different ( Metro is good ) and visually very appealing, both in phone and OS.
