why the battery quickly ran out in a day ?

there is a problem with 3G in this phone..i thinks la..coz mine got 1 day and a half if just using 2G instead of 3G which can last around 18 hours..sometime just 15 hours....that happens after updating to 12070..not a huge change from previous update..it just reduce the idle current discharging

im using 2g only meh. but the lasting of the battery cannot cover until a whole day. at nite, 20%. shit !

There's many factors behind your issue. If you use edge mode and left it idle in an area with strong signal you would get at least 25to 28 hours of battery life.

Now that's a first for not being able to last long on the new firmware.

u finish charged at what time? can last bout how long?if 18 hour is still consider ok meh..for me la..what version is yours?11501?

Added on March 26, 2012, 5:47 pmyeah..it shud last more than 2 days if in idle with new update..around 62mA current discharged..mine if keep in standby can last for 2 day..but who on earth will let his smartphone keep standby for 2 days..hahaha

if the battery state 100% i will unplug it. i charged through the usb cable connected to the notebook. now im using edge. i never update the version. same from the first time im bought.

I quite impressed with the new update 12070 at 7.30pm started from 8.30am my battery life is @ 30% auto entering saving mode in 2G mode compare to last time it will be totally flat by 6pm

how to update ? search using zune, but didnt found it. and im kinda afraid to update also if there will be problem too after update.

Malaysia still dont have this update..u xan manually update by using cab..just like the link above..but warranty will void..if something happen to this phone n u need to pass to nokia center just tell them u have update it at singapore..

the price drop makes me cry.. I just bought it too.. with no free gift.. oh how I wish I didn't know this..
