Agreed, I'm using Maxis and satisfied with it...for light surfing, sufficient for me

of cause is not faster than digi smartplan 68 after cap.. but is comparable to smartplan48 but smartplan 48 is 1gb quato.. and yes... is faster than dial up.. if not mistaken, dial up is only 52kbps..
i'm just giving out a suggestion/alternative... not to compare which is good or bad...

Maxis is good; Just make sure you don't overuse.

I think it's still early stage, as long as they did it correct like Maemo/MeeGo, they can add more services later (e.g. Google Talk, Yahoo Messenger, Skype, etc), same goes for the Instant Messaging (IM) part.
As long as they built it into the core and the base is right; Unlike Android, it's so messy especially with each manufacturer customize their own further, we get so many duplicates (the contact's profile can be so complicated) and there's no true integration.

The messaging via Im is awesome very simple and fast another flaw can't send offline message beside that it's great. Even the ui look web based but it look sleek unlike android like on Sgs ii abit cartoonish. The wifi connect also very good even it disconnect it reconnect instantly without issue. Waiting for them to do like belle shortcut button for wifi access, mobile data on/off

Don't worry when u reach like 70% or 80% maxis will send you an SMS. When u reach your limit it will also send you an SMS.

yea.. agreed.. don't really like the ui on the sgs2..
anyway.. unless you are a heavy web user or always stream song/video from internet, you will hardly exceed your monthly data quota. i'm on maxis 1gb plan... average just using around 300mb permonth...

When it's web based it loads less unnecessary data the wp7 to load photos. Now with web based average usage hitting 1gb will be challenging except streaming lots video and photos

Yup, shortcut button access is important. The belle shortcut/pulldown is actually from Android, it's a neat feature; The one of N9/MeeGo is not bad also. I keep tap the TOP thinking it's N9, but nothing drop down, lol.

Good, now got SMS, last time don't have; I call ask Maxis to check, they also don't have log. Lucky that time got max limit charge of RM250.

Depends on user; People who uses social networks a lot like Facebook, will more likely to use more, plus, if friend share photos/albums, videos, flickr, 9gag, etc. it's another story; unless most place you go has WiFi or you can wait until there is WiFi connection. It really depends on individual.

and like Shifu aspire said, now it's web based; or if you notice, it's updating feeds from Facebook or other social networks (Live), etc. frequently into the People Hub, when you go to "Pictures", it's loading photos/albums from social networks.... and it may also update profile photos of your contacts, which may have hundreds...

That's what I like of the wp7 very straight forward you want to find everything about example James

You go to people hub > James > you get everything about him like photos, tweets, Facebook updates, even link to direct chat with them.

Then if u wanna know everything about your updates just go to me.

But something weird is..
my facebook, youtube, IE 9 running smooth
load fast, refrest fast.
only my whatsapp cant load message.
and seem like no others lumia digi user same with me

That's why ask yourself what's your needs of your phone. For me I don't play game on my phone I have a pc that capable to output 5.1 surround speaker and support direct x11 so I don't play game on my phone, I need it for th integration, fast response to email, Facebook, twitter and updates. So wp7 more of my choice.

Agreed. Same situation as yours. Since my Blackberry seems too bland in doing all those things.

It does but the camera of bb is phailed lol.

Bugs/Cons :-

1. Sometimes cannot end-call and the phone will restart
2. No Tethering
3. No Viber/Skype
4. Incoming Call will only vibrate at the beginning of a ringtone. So if you have a 37 secs ringtone, the phone will only vibrate every 37 secs. By that time, either the telco already cut you off or your will might have already gone in to the Voicemail.
5. Not many apps but the apps are properly QCed like iOS. So you get the consistent UI and experience, compare to Android Apps.

Above are the few points that I dislike...but there is nothing perfect in this world.
