I'm not sure by what u mean of the tracking website. the 99.99% server uptime is true. I already use the hosting for almost one month and until now i never face any server down problem. This one i'm not sure. maybe u can give the person in charged a call. But for me after using this company or perhaps one man show service, i will continue to use it as they offer a very excellent services.

Cynet "somebody" replied to me. He said no real uptime tracking was done (through siteuptime or uppanel or whatever). But insisted on the 99.9% uptime which honestly, not many web hosting can achieve.

I'm afraid of one-man-show hosting like versatilenetworks which I had bad experience with. Sounded like a reseller hosting. Only replied to your email at night. Handphone is switched off and never reply.

I guess claims by hosting providers of their uptime can be quite vague and often untrue. So please beware when you are looking at their records and 'claims'.

Like what michaelfoo said, it's better that the website have a 3rd party uptime record.

I actually forgot what his exact reply was (already deleted it in my Yahoo mail). He was blabbering about having own monitoring software that cannot be viewed by public.

And the uptime guarantee refund if did not meet the 99.9% is probably too small a compensation for any possible losses in revenue for web publishers.
