i changed my driver side wiper arm few months back, but very fast the tension spring degraded already. Now not so strong. My original old wiper arm spring is much stronger, just the rivet loose a bit and cant wipe nicely.
Not sure where can buy original wiper arm...

Guys,

What is the usual idling speed for wira 1.5 carb

1. cold start
2. cold start with aircon
3. warm start
4. warm start with aircon

I'm getting like 1.2k when air con is on, and about 1k with air con off.

cold start should be higher due to auto choke, about 1.5k rpm. but not sure carb got auto choke..

Urs an auto? I doubt that the cooling system has todo anything bout the gbox failure. Ask for replacement n not change anything other than gbox.

just 2 weeks, can't be so easy spoil already.
like wailup said, ask for replacement, should have warranty at least for few months.

and radiator/cooling system doesn't go through the gearbox, where can affected the gearbox.

I think it's slightly higher in the mornings closer to 1.5k rpm.

Reason I'm asking is that I thought the engine sounds like it's running too fast smile.gif But when I ask the mech he says that it's normal and that is the correct range.

It could go about 400km on a full tank, city driving. Highway sometimes can get 500+ km. Had some problems with the carb lately, had it repaired. Still observing. Hope to get the same consumption back.
