What is the usual idling speed for wira 1.5 carb

1. cold start
2. cold start with aircon
3. warm start
4. warm start with aircon

I'm getting like 1.2k when air con is on, and about 1k with air con off.

I think it's slightly higher in the mornings closer to 1.5k rpm.

Reason I'm asking is that I thought the engine sounds like it's running too fast But when I ask the mech he says that it's normal and that is the correct range.

It could go about 400km on a full tank, city driving. Highway sometimes can get 500+ km. Had some problems with the carb lately, had it repaired. Still observing. Hope to get the same consumption back.

Anybody know how to fix the manual gearbox rattling sound when in neutral?

Got soem rattling sound, goes away when clutch is depressed.
Anyways, am looking for some recommendations to reduce engine bay sounds. Any main things to check or replace?

Noises that I"m talkign about are not really about noise insulation but more like those rattling noises when engine is running, sound like things that are loose or worn out. Any idea what parts usually cause the engine bay noises?

But don't mind exploring noise insulation solutions too

Anybody knows how to get rid of rattling sound from gearbox then the car is on neutral? Sounds like tak-tak-tak.

The sound goes away when I depress the clutch.

The driver seat cushion of my wira is very low and flat now (~17 years) and would like to get it restored
