Normally is piston ring and valve seal, very seldom piston got problem.

i owned a wira 1.5 which is the same as the seller but mine is 4g15 carb, so i was thinking, izit worth it i sell of my car and buy that seller car?
1 of my reasons is the engine, i can save some bucks getting a halfcut, 2nd is my wira also need to spend few thousand for repair, why not get a 4g92 and repair it rather than my 4g15P. So guys, izit worth it? as the car condition, same same with my wira just that engine is different.

Yea, i think my guess was correct, unfortunetly i was late for 1day. Damn! Hope the ppl take back the deposit so i can pay my deposit.

yea..this light is very nice...brightest among aftermarket brake light i think..cause the bar tail lamp is not very bright based on what i see on other wira...haha

btw guys...wanna ask...im planning to change all my aircond panel and meter bulb to led...actually how many led is needed ar? for aircond panel i know is 2 T5 bulb... but the meter how many is needed?? 4? 5? or 6? haha...i search on few source...some say 4 some say 5...

Yeah, i love the LED part...but i don't like the top part....which the reflection part.....

For Evo Meter u need 3 x T5 & 1 X smaller then T5..

if getting B18C then I would have to consider B20A block.....

then that price I can try to get k20a....
later have to take funding from my wira GSR engine fund....

Hey guys, wanna ask about an annoying problem with my wiSE vdo 2005..every time run on highway above 3000 rpm the check engine light will come on..so far ive been to two proton center with their MUT and my usual workshop and done the following over a period of 6months :

1) clean TB (diy) usually do every 2 oil change
2) replace O2 sensor
3) done mut engine diagnostic, no error code (wtf?) so they reset it to factory setting
4) my usual mech did normal inspection check for fluid leaks, check vacuum leak (test drive and monitor vacuum meter) ,check whatever wiring he knows etc...doesnt seem like anyone knows the problem..and in 6 months i have nothing unusual like no increase in FC,no breakdown,no smoke, no rough idle..

any ideas?

forgot to mention, my service is always on time, semi-syn engine oil every 5k,clean air filter, change oil filter
every 2 oil change clean TB, replace spark plug

no major changes or modifications done before problem started

i have no idea about that as my wira didn't show that symptoms....

however my eg8 does same problem.... lighten up every time reach 4k..... but then when turn off and start again.... the light didn't showed at all.....

only recently... when i left my car over a month... and i unplugged the battery terminal.... a week later it back to normal....

Last time my company car also have this problem, when go above 100km/h the check light appear. The mechanic check and say it might be the ECU got problem, change ECU gonna cost 1k. sweat.gif

i think can't just change it like that. even the TB of MMC and VDO is different.

you mean when start the engine is still cold is it? what is the RPM?
when idle and open the air cond, what is the RPM?
if below 700, i believe problem lies at your ISC. this is the part below the throttle body.
check your ISC gearing if got problem or missing teeth or not. ISC gearing should also be cleaned and apply new grease.

try raba2 below the throttle body, there should be black plastic, see if the plastic melted or not. if not probably the gearing inside broken or wiring loose/broke. if melted then need to change the ISC unit, about RM250-300

I dont think ECU.. it should be one of the sensor ko..i suspect it was the O2 sensor cuz after 3000 rpm, vdo will go into open loop..screwed up part is its not consistant..few days rempit no prob..then suddenly will appear..go mech,pulg in the pdt2000 no error code..damn headache

it can't be O2 sensor, coz you said the problem appear over 3k rpm, means that time the ECU stop reading signal from O2 sensor already.
