If u plan to upgrade be sure camera is not your priority. The camera degraded quite bad. If you are not into camera worth the update performance and stability just camera became worse

gotta agree flash-fired photos are nice, but for low light imagery is a bit awkward (if you pay attention to the noise) but im sensing that the new belle now recognize the real white balance that the scene should have snapped. owh well, again, waiting for yummy mods for more self-quality upgrade


Nokia Belle can be update through Nokia Suite (which is, of course, through PC) only! it is a big installation, but it is definitely worth it!

Really I can't wait if there is one. Look forward to it.

Can anyone try this camera mod by theOne, one of the CFW contributor at daily.se.... this is the link N8 The One Camera Mod. I did try but maybe my eye not that sensitive. You can read the desciption here.

i've read the past 10 pages or so of this thread and apologies in advance if i missed this but i read from the internet that some people are having to pay to reinstall apps in symbian belle that they have already paid for in symbian anna. is this true? cause i have the gravity app and that's 20 bucks, plus other paid apps and i wouldnt wanna pay for those again.

i can also see the camera degraded quite abit (not too big of an issue for me) and people mentioned that there is no notification widget? dumb question but just confirming, there are notifications for whatsapp right? i really like the new looks and everything but im afraid to update it cause of these little issues. :/

For lost paid app, you can just log-in your ovistore id and from the history -re-install

for me I'm also particular on camera quality and I found nothing wrong so far wth the camera..dunno why just me haha

Are u still on Anna? If so u need to update it using nokia suite with your pc. Install the latest version of Nokia Suite, plug in your phone using Nokia Ovi Suite mode and it should prompt u to update.

Make sure u back up your sms, contacts, docs, pictures, music. Sms, contacts and docs can back up using nokia suite. for pictures and music better do it manually. after update to belle can restore back sms contacts and docs using nokia suite and move back music and photos into your phone.

I think belle really drain battery lar... fully charge and within 1 hour already drop 5%... monitor using battery info.

4 hr 15min already left 87%. only use about 5 mins on java games (slice ice) use wifi online for 5 mins and send sms about 10 only.

Yeah same like me. They better gv update to fix this.

Nokia better update to fix camera and battery life bugs asap!

very simple to check ori set will have a sticker and warranty card by zitron/avaxx/ arista if dont have dont take.

then next check the phone life timer. Brand new should be 0 by typing *#92702689# . if u see anything else beside 0 reject it
