I must say Congratulation Nokia for rolling out Belle simultaneously worldwide without delaying some of the regions. Anyway cant wait to try out the v.111.030.609 by Nokia:

do we really need f-secure that come with belle ?

i guess its more on the compression level of the image/jpeg. Thats why all CFW mostly will include mods for camera & video.

anybody realize that your images not in E:/Images/Camera anymore but in E:/DCIM/Nokia100 ?

Can anyone try this camera mod by theOne, one of the CFW contributor at daily.se.... this is the link N8 The One Camera Mod. I did try but maybe my eye not that sensitive. You can read the desciption here.

Or you can just consider TheOneCFW camera mod just to bring up your camera image quality. I've tried it & quality is diff but file will be a lot bigger.

Look for spec here. They mention OS is Nokia Belle Feature Pack 1,wonder if they'll get it on our N8.

N8 might not get Bell FP1 update. Only Nokia 603, 700, 701 because it involve bringing Dolby sound and increase in processor speed from 1GHz to 1.3GHz.

if you're using stock belle then to hack it first using CodeRus, then install the rompatcher & activate the open4all tweak then u can see the sys/bin folder in C:

for jinhao effect, its easier to if you're cfw coz u can just copy the effect to c:\data\animation\effect. If using stock belle then have to google a bit how to activate the custom effect feature but still need a hacked belle. jinhao v5 is nice .

have enable "open4all" ? U can install unsigned apps because u have activate the installserver.

dont remember creating patches folder in D: but last time i use CodeRUs rompatches, install after apply the N0rt0n hack then activate the open4all then i can access the C: already (i mean the hidden folders).

just uninstall the rompatcher app & reinstall back lor.... use CodeRUs one, it comes with installserver and open4all patch.
