My prediction: QPR to make it 3-3 in Fergie time tongue.gif

Update: Argh that last minute corner almost made it. Great game by QPR though.

whahaha. what a bunch of hypocrites. so it's wrong now that we 'rejoice' a bit when the supposed best team with best players are drawing for the 3rd consecutive match in their own turf?

yet, they celebrated like they won the league when city thrashed us 6-1 in our own turf?

as in words of a friend ...

Liverpool, Arsenal And Chelsea fans celebrating the fact that City beat United is like celebrating when another man gives your wife an orgasm just because you could not.

It says a lot from that line. In malay, we called this PHD syndrome. Perasaan Hasad Dengki, when you're on top, people would always find ways to bring you down.

I thought SAF is already surpassed SMB?

SMB have Busby Babes, SAF have Fergie Fledgings
SMB knighted, so is SAF
SMB won European Cup, SAF did it twice
SMB won trophies, so is SAF
SMB have "Sir Matt Busby Way", SAF have "Sir Alex Ferguson Stand"

SMB have a statue, which I believe SAF will have his once he step down / hand over baton to next (Special One / Babyface Assassin...? brows.gif )

both of them are equally important to Man Utd, we can't really compare them tbh....

Sir Matt Busby brought United into the footballing scene, became the first English Club to participate in the European Cup, and fans will forever remember he again rebuild a new United after the Munich plane crash and won the first European Cup for the club

Sir Alex Ferguson on the other hand, he rejuvenated United after 20+ years of slumber, continuously rebuild teams with championship capability, and who will forget the year he won the Treble? who will forget the memorable UCL final at Nou Camp?

both managers "resurrected" United, so they are equally important to the club

Comparing Sir Matt Busby and Sir Alex Ferguson is like comparing George Best and Eric Cantona and ask, who is better.

Let's hope he can stay at least for another 5 years.
The current team and those in the academy still need his hands to mould them into champions..

i think its similar to our gk issue (where we drag VDS on as long as we can while the club patiently seeking out suitable successor), while SAF's case will have to add another point: he will step down when he no longer can operate as manager day in and day out at the highest level lol

Well, while the pressure will be immense for the new manager when the time comes and it will never be easy, but I believe with everything in place(every single detail already in place, he doesn't need to change anything and just push the start button), he should find it easier I hope. Can see with us signing talented young guys to complement the squad. SAF is preparing for when the time comes that it will be as smooth a transition as possible. Let's hope we get the right one in on the first try!

its really virtually impossible to find another guy like SAF, what i hope for our future manager is just bring in his own traits (good one of course), and blend in with the club's tradition....just following SAF's footstep is not good since he's not SAF

Is confirm that SAF going to have his statue unveiled by start of next season...

I'm more amazed on SAF continuity n his hunger to overcome every challenges....

Btw guyz, go and download the video about 25 years of SAF at united... Is a joy to watch and do serve some historical moment for the young man united supporter to understand Man united football club further....

apa ini talk of successors ...hush now gaffer "baru" 25 yrs mah.still has many things he wants to do for the club and fans.successors can wait until then it is Sir Alex's Man Utd.

anyway 2 weeks break.the usual supects will be off sadly its the same bunch.

i bet valencia will be off far and wide again, the retirees have time, injured ones good timing less missed games, selected ones well hope for the usual.
