Not the most beautiful or convincing of wins but I'll take 3 points any day. Except for that one scary moment when Bendtner almost had a tap in, I thought our defence was solid. Lindegaard had a relatively comfortable game.

Congratulations to Sir Alex on his 25th anniversary. It's quite amazing to think that he has been managing United before I was even born. HAHA.

Yeah long way more to go for the game but QPR has been playing exceptionally well so far. Citeh had a couple of chances to equalize too. Exciting game so far.

Update: Meh. Dzeko makes it 1-1

My prediction: QPR to make it 3-3 in Fergie time tongue.gif

Update: Argh that last minute corner almost made it. Great game by QPR though.

For feck's sake you rival fans, if you don't like what you're reading here then STOP coming in here. If you lack the mental capacity to do that, then just close the window once you're done reading. No need to puke your crap all over our thread.

Just finished watching 25 Years United: Sir Alex Ferguson.

Another lovely 1-0 victory. Can't wait for the ABUs to start whining. MU only win because Rangel make mistake la. MU only win because Sinclair screwed up that open goal la.

That time we meet Barca over the two legs, Ronaldo can even afford to miss a penalty brows.gif

As far as I am concerned we played WELL ENOUGH to win the game. Yes, we fluffed a lot of chances, the players were not up to their usual standards but it was ENOUGH. It was FECKING ENOUGH for 3 points... until some blindshit assistant referee decides that he wants to be in tomorrow's newspaper.

Wow, this is going to be interesting. Carrick + Jones combo. Let's hope this will be our winning midfield combo.

Let's return Citeh the favour this year. Kick the defending winners out of the competition. Bring on the noisy neighbours!

Personally, I don't blame Sir Alex for taking the gamble of not buying a big name midfielder before the season started. We definitely had the quality at the start of the season. The combo of Anderson and Cleverley was tearing teams apart. Unfortunately, we don't seem to have much luck with injuries.

QUOTE(Reimao @ Dec 8 2011, 03:42 PM)
Though i understand Cleverley is and might be an integral part of the team, what i cant understand is what's the supreme hoo-haa on him? Sure he's a good player, but if he plays and have a bad game or 2, will you guys still blindly support him? Why is Carrick never given the same support?
*

I think most United fans are too used to our high tempo attacking play. I know people who will constantly moan that Carrick is the most negative player ever, he never make runs, whenever he gets the ball he either passes it to the back or to the sides, etc. Personally, I think Carrick provides us with midfield stability. He intercepts crucial passes and provide some solid tackles.
