Its weird, but i have to thank Chelsea for their players effort bringing noisy neighbour down. Now is depends on us, watch out QPR, MU is now hungry for top spot and goals.  brows.gif . Well, hope Arsenal will do the same thing.

BTW, what is the future of post-SAF era? Who going to replace him?

Cyborg Sir Alex. got Moyes,Mou, Bruce, Solskjaer & Hughes. There is plenty of choice. It remains to be seen. no use of speculation until Sir Alex announce his final season.

anybody feels that Carrick's playing style more mature now?

better decision making, doesn't lose possession easily, more direct passes and less sloppy passes.

agreed smile.gif
there is one more thing he needs to improve in, shooting from range, which he surely can do it. Just take a look at the 7-1 thrashing Roma game.

because I think Pep is barca through and through. If he wants to leave I think he will go to Turkey or any middle east club.

but it would be great if Pep become United manager. He is definitely knows how to motivate his players and tactically impressive so far

so he got the chance to collect the only trophy he dun have this season in Europa League...we shall see what's our squad condition when the draw comes to decide whether we will go for it, or give it a pass

we will talk UCL next year, for now, its BPL and FA cup first

Of course it is awkward seeing United in Europa, but I think it is a good chance for the gaffer to give a chance to the youngters and test them in

European games. Give them the necessary experience to play games against other European opponents. To be on the positive side, we should take it

as a blessing in disguise. tongue.gif BPL will always be the priority, but we will see how the squad conditions are as the season goes. icon_rolleyes.gif

It show how important "big" player like Terry, A.Cole, Lampard and Drogba, even they can't perform well every week against weaker team but Man Utd need this kind of player to have any chance to win Man City or Barcelona in future, defence not a concern, we got Vidic and Evra, only midfield and maybe on strong target man to partner Rooney

Fletcher takes a break

On behalf of Darren Fletcher, Manchester United wishes to announce that he is taking an extended break from football for health reasons.

Over the past year he has had several absence periods which we have attributed to a viral illness in order to respect his right to medical confidentiality. Darren has, in fact, been suffering from ulcerative colitis (a chronic inflammatory bowel condition) for some time preceding this.

Whilst he was able to maintain remission of symptoms for a considerable period this has proved more difficult recently and Darren’s continued desire to play and his loyalty to both his club and country has probably compromised the chances of optimising his own health and fitness.

He has therefore accepted medical advice to take an extended break from the demands of training and playing in order to afford the best chance possible of achieving full remission once again.

We request that his privacy is respected and hope that the removal of the additional stress associated with speculation regarding his health will also aid his recovery.

unexpected...Is he having a serious problem??

Oic. Have yet to Wikipedia-ed that illness prior this post tongue.gif but I suspect that is the main culprit in his weight loss. Get well soon Fletch. In the mean

time, we have able replacement in Jones playing in your place. I see Jones has he potential to become box to box midfielder rather than deep lying

one as in Makalele type.
