Hmm not sure if papago uses aGPS but there are ways around it. Back in my HD2 days where GPS is not functioning properly, one way i normally use is run GPS status (find the app in market) first then papago. GPS status with aGPS locks within seconds. Then when you close GPS status and run papago it immediately locks as well.

SO torn up right now, need help from all of the ROM masters here. Which would you people recommend for overall speed, stability, and battery life?

CM sounds good because it has tons of hidden menus and the fantastic haptic feedback, but has camera issues...Do the other ROM's have the hidden menu's? The battery level in Batista70 looks very very cool...

Wipe and flash. Read the cm7 thread thoroughly. Cm7 base rom is totally diff so its does not matter if your on stock or custom rom.

i notice some apps in market has the permission to prevent "phone from slepping" does that means it will use up mosre battery as it prevent the phone from deep sleep?
