U finally decided to jump ship after using touch x series rom for so long?

Yup was waiting for a rom to make me jump. Hyperdroid is slow to update (like always) and Check + Leomar got to me first.

Back in HD2, Pongster took his time with releasing roms cos he want to thoroughly test them. I believe he will have the same practice now.

Hmm... interesting. wanna ask u,is the display process time at battery usage page accurate? And does uv harm the proc or hardware in terms of durability?

so far CheckROM is awesome, combine with speedmod..havent tried Siyah...but miss the smaberg jkay theme..i like simple theme...

I think the display time is accurate. UV no idea but i think not for our short term usage of the phone for a few years.

Added on October 21, 2011, 10:00 pmI am using siyah working great. Not sure if it is the rom or kernel but the startup is a lot faster and device is very smooth. Haven't tried speedmod yet. You can still flash Jkay KI4 V12 theme you know. It is compatible. I am using it now.

I realize my Papago Lock GPS very slow .. I stay in KL and it locks quite slow .. I downloaded GPS Test to test GPS and having hard time on it ..

Any way to improve Papago or GPS ??
Currently using Papago X5 ..

I wait for siyah to be final 2.1 then i tried..tired to flash 4 kernel in one day..hahaha

Did you turn on Data to use aGPS. It will lock faster within seconds.

Which means to lock aGPS faster , data need to be on ? Otherwise , it will be taking hours ?? I haven try using Data to use aGPS ..

Hours??? Are you inside building or outside? aGPS needs data/wifi. But if your out in your car you may not have wifi so data is best. Even without aGPS it should not take hours to lock. Minutes maybe.

u using custom rom or stock rom ?

He is using Papago which didn't use AGPS if I'm not mistaken.
Also check whether your Papago is original version or pirated.
If you bought the phone and the papago comes together inside with the phone (which the seller claims to give you free), 99% of the time it is pirated.

Im using the ROM that comes together originally .. Haha .. The Papago is my friend help me install it , not sure how he gets it though .. he say he knows how to install , so i just pass him to install ..

I activate the GPS from the drag down screen and run Papago and GPS Test .. Didnt run Packet Data .. (Before i get my data plan , haven try after i get my data plan)
