SO torn up right now, need help from all of the ROM masters here. Which would you people recommend for overall speed, stability, and battery life?

1. CheckROM Revolution v1.0 ★XXKI4★

2. XXKI8:BATISTA70 FOXHOUD EDITION 2.3 WIPE

3. CyanogenMod-7.1

CM sounds good because it has tons of hidden menus and the fantastic haptic feedback, but has camera issues...Do the other ROM's have the hidden menu's? The battery level in Batista70 looks very very cool...

guys, need some help, sorry if this has been asked before..

i persuaded my mum in buying S2 for herself, and boy how i wish i dint.
because now she couldnt send any mms without activating data packet first. I dont want her to get BillShock so i turn it off.
of course, she's not on data plan but never had this prob with her ever-so-reliable nokia to send/receive mms.

with all the googling, nothing helps. anyone face this situation? getting a smartphone without data plan but only wish to mms?

i dont need anyone to tell me 'MMS needs data, get a data plan' because her nokia can MMS without data plan because it automatically switch on data and off after sending/receiving it.

and why not S2?? please shed some light, thanks...

I thought your rooted. Where did your root go? Just flash some kernel like cf that will give you root then only flash siyah.

I read through the first page information. And i come out with these few questions. Sorry im starter kid in smartphones.

1- I need to root my phone before i get to install the flash rom?
2- Rooted android phone can get unroot so that my warranty will not be        void?

Any other flash rom to recommend beside MIUI ??
Is rooting android phone tough?

It is hard to choose between an iPhone 4S and SGS-2.

However, I would like to confirm some things.
Hopefully u guys can help out.

1. I searched on Internet before. So, we have an app known as BUMP? Can we use it to transfer files between iPhones and SGS-2? Did anyone try before?  Otherwise, it would be a trouble. This is super important to me!

2. How do u guys pay for the apps? I never use android. I used Symbian before, I paid for Symbian apps using my prepaid digi balance. I don't have a credit card.

3. Does SGS-2 video recording have continuous autofocus?

4. Does anyone encounter problem with this phone before? Which would u recommend? G or non-G?
