qualifying for next stage of europa league with a 3-1 win over panathinaikos. sloppy start in second half after a 1-0 lead in first half by ade.
dempsey r having a good game and score the second goal before defoe flick past the panathinaikos keeper for the third goal.
nice!

haih AVB... why you never learn... this is english football... its never a good strategy to defend when you're 1-0 up.... and you see, no matter how good Lloris is, at one time no luck can help him also and this time its 2 goal in 2 minutes...
its depressing when you see the team in defense mode the whole game.
yes we dont have bale but that is not an excuse...
btw dempsey are playing good, if we win, lloris should get the man of the match with countless saves..
defense is good until last 10m...

The defense is hopeless in the last 10 mins for the entire season
Skysports say we will b first in the league if the game ends in 80 mins
This boils down to the mentality of the team of which avb fails to address.
His negative defensive tactics as u correctly pointed out is not the way to go.attack is d best form of defense.

I am sure guys already know i am not a fan of his so i am gonna say it again...Can we fire him now?

he is a bit too negative with his subs ... i'd rather he strengthen the midfield with thudd & livermore for dempsey & ade

bunker up the midfield and break with speed with dembele azza and defoe

they are quite strong this season ... normally, at this point, they'd be languishing around the drop zone due europe commitments ...

Yes we lost to everton last season but at that point of losing, arry was busy figuring ouy if he become the england manager and we are at down form at that time... first encounter with everton was the rescheduled match due to the riot and we won 2-1...
spurs are well known for attacking. no matter how many goals we conceded, we just need to score one more than opponeny to win the game.
so, keep attacking is the best defense.

agree that better substitutions should have been made. ade was hopeless for most of the game to be honest.

And with arrival of Lloris for once i thought hell yeah now we have a great caliber of keeper.
No offense to other great keeper but this time i have great hope.
But not when we played defending which iw not spurs at all

Lloris is an awesome keeper. At least I know he has a safe pair of hands. Unlike during Gomez time where it was always heart in mouth whenever there was a shot at goal =P

Lloris is good on one on one and he proves this a lot of times as the team plays the defense line quite high.
his game perception is good and this is what friedel cannot do often.
Damn you make me remember all those blunder Gomez did and even he is good but his blunder clouds his performance...
one week of rest, hope Bale, Parker & BAE will be available next weekend.

Horrific Snapshot: Grim Photo Of Spurs Fan Stabbed In Rome Emerges, Huge Knife Wound In Head

A photo has emerged of a Tottenham fan, who was one of the ten supporters attacked by Lazio Ultras in the Drunken Ship pub in Rome before last night’s Europa League game.

The Spurs fan (who is yet to be identified correctly as far as we know) was admitted to San Camillo hospital with a huge gash in his head after being attacked by a knife-wielding hooligan early on Thursday morning…

Horrifying.

According to Sky Sports, witnesses have now come forward and said that many of the attackers shouted “Jews” at the Tottenham fans as they swarmed them and beat them senseless.

The more you hear and see, the more you really want these pigs to suffer for their actions.

Lazio supporters are known to include far-right extremists and fascist sympathisers.

scary

p/s: Sorry folks but some said that the picture isn’t of any fan stabbed in Italy. Yes he’s a Tottenham fan but that head wound happened as a result of an accident here in London. But worth a read.
