it's been reported that RVP wont join Man City unless Ade leaves

Man City bids for RVP

Ade delays contract talks

RVP got tired of waiting and joins MU

right after that, Ade signs full time for Spurs

Is it coincidental or trolling lol

deal done for ade, that's nice ... now, time to grab a backup for him ...

in the newcastle game, i can't help but think we were missing a dribbler to help link defense with attack ... were really missing modric that day ... i hope he stays ...

bassong left ... i thought we underused him ...

someone bid for dawson ... don't really want to see him go ... he gets injured at least 2 months per season, but when he plays, he does a job for us ... somewhat like the king situation ...

Official news of Adebayor signing!

He said it at the start of the summer that he wanted to stay and now he has.

Kudos to Daniel Levy for doing a deal where a previous club continues to pay part of the player's salary even after he has signed for us. rclxms.gif

great news on ade!
he will receive around 100k wage per week, lower than what he get on man city
the not so good is dawson are going to QPR.
will undergo medical by this week and close the deal.

Added on August 22, 2012, 11:32 amreported that Ade's fee is only £5m.
if this is true, Levy has done a very good job!
wage of £100k per week is considered bonus already...

time to get another good striker to provide competition to both defoe and ade.
and another attackiny midfielder of vdv not available.

we have sigurdsson and vdv ... surely that's enough ...

i'd rather have a player that can get stuck in, dribble like a 14 year old brazilian and is creative ...

-------------------

just checked soccernet ... hudds' going too? ... wtf

the rate we're going, the future of tottenham is jenas + bentley ... somebody please tell me this is a bad joke ...

Makes sense, since Adebayor likely didn’t do much training at City before we signed him.

I don't get avb- we have 2 defensive midfielders and we r playing at home expecting a comfortable win.

why the hell do we want to loan huddlestone out where he can b put to good use here.he might not b as creative as modric but surely his passing ability will us well in this game esp with wbrom playing for a draw.

I know it's only 2 games but if this nonsense continues we will linger in midtable mediocrity

one of the most uncomfortable 2nd half to watch. you would have gotten several heart attacks.

a point is a point. we clearly need a big man up front. Lukaku was like the second coming of Drogba....goodness me....

jan full debut was okay.

gallas getting slower.

jenas ????

both wingers pushed forward too far, fullbacks exposed.

defoe needs a strike partner up front.

add center midfield & defend to the shopping list please.

two defensive midfielder wont bring in goals. yes, we need goals as we cant win by leading with only 1 goal.
impressed with vertonghen but he goes up quite often and that worries me. you can go up but make sure not countered attack coz gallas is not that fast to cover.
jenas is really facepalm as adebayor today... not contributing to the game.
we depend too much on both wing to generate attack and this is not good...
VDV not getting much supplies from modfielder and defoe wasting too many chances...

on the bright side, we earned a point already as compare last year when we lose 2 games to both manchester and conceded 8 goals already.
for now we already score 2 and conceded 3...
next game, norwich is a must win game.

and levy, dont play your fan like this, we know you want to have great deal but pitch performance is needed for moral. come on!

West brom isnt a weak team though... and we've dropped so many points to them in the past few seasons. our bogey team? tongue.gif

i think most importantly we must get another left back. Danny is a completely different kind of player to BAE

i want a win as much as any other fan but AVB must be realizing it is quite tricky to work with Levy.

having said that, he is the head coach and it is HIS job to figure out how to play with the player he has. when we were playing our brand of football in the first half, we were a beauty to watch. what was missing was the big target man upfront.

playing the high line makes us susceptible at the back and Lukaku was like the 2nd coming of Drogba. a big physical presence that was hard to shake.

i trust that AVB will get it done soon and there should be a couple of signings this coming week.

COYS!
