Soldado rarely gets any service, even after running into space. It almost seems like they don't like passing to him.

Progression to knock out stage of Europa confirmed with our win last night. Glad that Lamela got his first goal for us.

Now to focus on the league match this weekend!

31 shot on goal with no avail..
either Krul are invincible or most of the shots are directed to him but some saves are extraordinaire nonetheless.
sandro need to play from start as only when he plays in second half, we manage to trim the attack from newcastle but the goal was never came...
pity soldado, with the quality of the tea but he did not get a lot chances for him to try...
anyway another break and then man city... lets hope something good comes out, COYS

Starting to dislike Townsend, he truly seems like a selfish one-trick pony that takes an extremely long time to pass to someone else. Soldado starved again, with the few passes that came he almost score twice. Imagine if they just kept feeding the ball to him instead of shooting like a headless chicken. Keep the hope up tho, COYS

agreed. he need to do what a wing should do, cross.
when he cuts in and try most of the time, he became predictable. for this i miss lennon as he do this part dutifully...
Lamela should start and show his worth.
what matter most was the absence of Lloris was paramount to the goal.
the goal will never scored if Lloris is playing as Friedel did hesitate to charge in front most of the times and we plays with high back line which is fatal with friedel guarding the post... no offence to him, he is good but not fit to this strategy.

AVB needs to have a plan B. We are narrowing the field at the top when our supposed wingers come inside and congest the field.

I would really like to see him play Townsend on the left and Lamela/Lennon on the right to give us width.

Sandro should have automatic start regardless. He was the key!

was a tough match to watch by half time already.

The stats are clear indications on how poor the team is:
Worse conversion rate, no goals in last four games, last night's 6 goal route equals total conceded for whole of this season, all new signings are flops.

Avb has now moved moved up the ladder next to Jol in the bookmakers to get the sack.

Next we have MU sweat.gif

The new players are still transitioning, give them time. Daniel Levy will be silly to sack AVB because he is not solely to blamed for the recent slump in form. Most importantly, Spurs lost their talisman, Gareth Bale. Not easy to fill his shoes.

AVB has a system he likes the players to play in. Sometimes we as fans don't fully appreciate and understand that. I find it strange that he does not want our players to stretch the wings and run down the flanks.

Playing Townsend on the right and Lennon left means they will inevitably come inside to get the ball at their favourite foot.

I do hope we do more wing play so that we don't keep having to take shots from outside the box. Our 2 goals at Fulham were outside the box goals.
