so , still got wifi issue , gps not working , charging RM 2199 same price at SG.

No option to buy the tablet only. Forcing buyer to buy both dock and tablet ?

i believe that the wifi no issue.. only the gps...

no idea will they sell only tablet later or not.. but now.. is bundle come with dock..

I believe the "discontinued" status is because of the shortages and/or recall (of promise) by ASUS due to the defects after people made a big fuss about it.

I believe this is more of a human issue. we need the extra space at the side to hold tablets easily due to the size - smaller tablets can hold it without touching the front part.

Midvalley house of notebook (alienware signange) had 3 units of asus transformer prime for sale. Rm2199. Tablet and keyboard docking bundled.

juz received mine.. 1st test i do was to try out the gps ..

hi, any actual experience on the wifi and bluetooth performance? i'm worried about this issues as from the user reviews, the wifi and bluetooth (oso GPS) got problem/low signal detection due to design failure..

- no problem...
- in my room manage to detect my home wifi and connect.. (2 bar)
- my alienware m11x shows 3bar
- havent do detail test.... any suggestion any apps to test?
- teater with my fren sgs no issue..

bluetooth
- no yet test... will try later.. charging it now

gps
- as show on the screen shoots above..
- pick up signal very fast..

oh.. add on..
When on dock (w/o ac power), the battery status will show charging..the dock will supply power and charge the tab battery... seems like got indicator shows tab battery and dock battery seperatelly...

Pick up signal on GPS is 1 thing, try moving around with it.
Does it break signal?

And is ur wifi connected when u did this test?

nope not connecting to any wifi during the test..
signal no breaking as well.. but i cant confirm if is far distance.... coz my traveling distance from mall to my home is not far... +- like 2-5km like tat only...


my side the shop only got 2 unit..
mine is the normal wan.. silver? purple? gray?

Yes cash and carry. Even accept credit card. Colour look like champagne gold if i am not mistaken.
