Just got back!
We had kinda like a drama back at the shop.
Even the other shop keepers nearby rushed in the Asus dealer.
One of them also took a photo of the tab once we opened it to check.

I was quite disappointed the champagne gold looks dull aluminium at the shop.
They used a white pendaflour light.
Surprised, when I got back, it looks more gold as I wanted.
My house got yellow small chandelier.

It's already booted up.
But I noticed a little light bleed on the right same as the rest of the world.
Probably lucky if you don't have one.
I'm leaving the tab to have it's first charging for now.
But I notice the tab is having a firmware update.
So wifi is not an issue here.
Will get back to you all once it's fully charge!

Wow, I think also want to buy one. I really need the browser invert color function. Only ICS and Cm7 have it

It's ICS!
Everything looks snappier.
The light bleed is also gone, I think ICS did this.
The camera is also having a firmware update right now.
I'm loving it, but I have to let it full-charge first.

Just of you who are in JB.
Skudai Parade is having 1 only TP.
It's the Grey Amethyst one, I took the Champagne Gold.
So better rush there if I were you.
I'll upload the gold one paired with the dock soon.

OK I,ve done the test with speedtest.net
With my notebook connected to the LAN I've got:
Ping: 48 ms DL Speed: 1.01 Mbps UL Speed: 0.42 Mbps

And with the TP wifi connected tested with the app:
Ping: 101 ms DL Speed: 1062kbps UL Speed: 573 kbps

My house is using streamyx 1 Mbps.
The result is A-OK!
Or maybe becoz my power outlet as it is charging is close to the router.
I have to test the tab again while playing upstairs.
I have no android phone or anything to tether with atm.

What kind of app did cyruz13 used to check gps?

distance btwn ur TP and router? try at diff distance and see how it fares..

your TP connected with the router at what speed? (36Mbps? 54Mbps?) isit same with ur laptop?

Haha fren..pls tell us more about this beast..my concern is on connectivity performance wifi, bt and gps..becoz the rest of it is superb..the connectivity issue for sure a deal breaker to me.

It's the same. 1000 kbps = 1Mbps.
Router is running on streamyx 1 Mbps.
I'll try the test again upstairs once it is fully charged 8 hours first time.

wifi is no problem.
Check my earlier post as it is same with laptop in same distance.

I'd also checked bt.
Don't have any keyboard or mouse bt device but an OG SE K770i.
It paired with no problem.
GPS I did not check as it is still charging inside the house.
But I don't have high hopes on it as it is a global issue.
Might always forget it was there.

Yes I checked the Build Version.
It's .WW or stand for World Wide distribution.
