Anyone has any news on the arrival date for the Prime yet?

mine still waiting next batch from US..the waiting is killing me softly.

i think January Malaysia also cant get. If get also limited stock. Especially ppl like me nvr pre-orde, have to wait for few more months ady.. T.T

Bollocks. The whole world has official launch dates and corresponding prices. There were issues; true, but not to the extent that Asus Malaysia should be still unable to tell exact dates/prices. I would have found it more plausable if they had said; "The whole world has been pre-ordering like crazy, so now Malaysia has to wait untill everyone else has his prime"...

Pre-orders from Comet in the UK have arrived, mixed impressions by first users. Some experience really dodgy problems, but others are perfectly happy with theirs:

Major problems have cropped up.
First it was the wifi problem, had to recall back 300 units in Taiwan.

Now the GPS, having no signal.
Even the US product page slashed off the GPS sensor feature at this time.

customers still receiving working GPS units even US dismissed the GPS feature

Another disappointing news for Asus Transformer Prime ... that it come with locked bootloader.

I read much about it at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1422983 too. But isn't it too early, I mean it was supposed to launch with ICS...will they not open it up once ICS is on the device?

just wondering do we need to pay any tax like phone if import this to malaysia?

Can tis tablet make phone calls or send sms?

can always VoIP or use sms apps..

I will hook it up to my android phone via wifi tethering anyway..

whats the dffrence between asus eepadd except for the faster processor ,slimmer,better screen ???
