i remember they got sell Asus eee pad slider, i think i saw an ad on the newspaper, don't know my memory correct or not.

Asus really lose a lot of customer because of 3g , even now TF 101 3g version haven't arrived yet.And just release last month.
Really disappointing

No point bringing another phone.Guess you seldom online with your tablet because those who always online will feel the hassle have to set hotspot from the phone , then connect and your phone must be in a certain range else will lose connection and etc.

What if your phone is not with you ? how are you going to online ? Isn't it great having both ?
Will you buy an android phone without 3g ? same goes with asus transformer which you can't even make a phone call + plus with no 3g.
Worst part is , no usb , have to get a docking to have usb but usb 3g doesn't support and need to root an install custom script .

I did that too, when my house tmnet down but really have to install 3g watch dog, pc consume alot more bandwidth then phone
Btw asus otg is in the market, so no usb is not main issue:)
For me car charger, backup battery is standard acc for my phone, so thethering consume more battery is not major issue for me, i don't really care abt 3g but i can't leave my phone behind me.

totally agree with this, i never leave my phone, where i go, it goes. 1 missed call equals thousands of $ lost of potential revenue. this also means wherever i go, car charger goes also. plus opening wifi hotspot and connecting to it (after first time) only cost me about 10 seconds, so it's no big deal, been doing this on my laptop since the beginning of froyo. and with the keyboard dock's USB port, i can (presumably) charge the phone using that. it's a win-win solution, no need to pay for extra 3g bills every month.

I think most if not all, would not forget his/her phone whenever they go out. You are more likely not feeling wanna bring the tablet outside than the phone.

yup u are right, i used to think need 3G on tablet..also, if u are unifi user, u get the free streamyx wifi zone ID as well..

nope....still drooling for the Asus...just because Lenovo isn't my cup of tea due to the branding and design
