blockade has 2x hp than magic
cannonball tower deals knockback + multi hit
spinning knife (that ulti tower) does higher dps than fireball...XD

oh, and any benefits on leveling bloodrage?

squire towers physical dmg
mage towers elemental dmg

spike block 3 DU, melee dmg
magic block 1 DU, remove mobs element

bowling ball 7 DU, good for narrow passage ways
fireball 5 DU, good to combo with ensnare, electric aura, block with magic block

slicer and dice 8 DU, well imo not really worth the DU, since need repair always,

blood rage, u do more dmg, resist dmg, etc.

Cannonball is only useful for tight single lanes, i.e: ramparts middle lane. I assume you're not playing on insane where you NEED to use the arcs from Apprentice towers to cover your other towers.

Use cannonball and watch your towers get raped by dark elves who leap over it and start attacking them from behind. Apprentice towers have no such weakness because you can always arc them to cover other each other.

Slice and dice is melee =_=, comparing apples and oranges.. Bouncers are far superior anyway because their theoretical lifespan is far greater than a slice and dice (pushing trash mobs away, or even into chasms/lava. Lol glitterhelm). I will say this though:

Glitterhelm (Hard): Squire > Apprentice
Ramparts (Hard): Squire > Apprentice
Halloween Spooktacular (Hard): Apprentice > Squire

The SnD tower is frankly, subpar and a waste of DU if you're playing on Insane. It simply doesn't output that much DPS, considering that the Fireball's range can be upped to impressive distances and the enemies would have to walk through an Ensnare Aura to even touch it.
As for the SnD, a huge mob wave will simply tear it down since they need to be within melee range to be effective. Hope you like mage skeletons eating them for breakfast.

i play insane ramparts with my lvl 70 apprentice...really hard to solo even with a tower build orientation...XD

the reason i play this is to level up my hero type squire, which does everything my apprentice doesn't...lol

and yea, apprentice is useless in challenges...>.<", isn't it?XD

I beat most of the challenges on Insane with the pre-nerf Wolfen (including soloing Monster Fest), so yeah. I don't recall using my Apprentice in any challenges.

so the final boss (ancient dragon) can be shoot with ranged weapon (no need to use the ballista) and make him land?

yes, it can be shot at in the air...if u have a team of 4 squires, then you will need to shoot it to make it land then...XD

Pretty crappy atm, and the upgrade costs are through the roof (600k per upgrade at lvl 15). It's getting buffed in the next patch though.

They have specific uses. Blasticus has greater Piercing Shot output unless you get a VERY good one like Edg3 has. VW has issues with electric immune mobs.

I'm going to attempt to get a crystal tracker too
