hi guys, recently felt that my razr maxx screen seems like quite yellowish, i wonder is it defect or its just "warm" colour effect?
*
the yellowish screen seems to be a big drawback for RAZR and also Samsung SII, seems like a common problem hmm.gif

i'm an ex SGS1 user, my SGS also had the yellowish screen issue but a 3rd party developer supercurio came out with his voodoo colour to solve this problem.

Hoping there will be a developer to tweak this for us as well sad.gif

Hi GUYS,

im looking for RAZR MAXX...i have heard people suggesting to get brightstar original unit.. which their warranty are great if any issues in future... they highly advising to not buying AP sets..

i have checked the brightstar website...so do i need to go their centre straight to buy ?

i have noticed in their website listed where to buy..all the shops
so those r the shops with brightstar unit ?

any chances for them to sell AP set ?
*
You can find it here too, and I believe it's cheaper than those in website. smile.gif Erm.never heard of AP Razr Maxx yet.

Hi guys, i planned to get RAZR MAXX...
im not sure certain website shows the specs different specially for the hardwares... not sure which is accurate

http://www.imcc.com.my/store/products.php?...orola-RAZR-MAXX

shows as below...

OS Android OS, v2.3.6 (Gingerbread), upgradable to v4.0
CPU Dual-core 1.2 GHz

http://www.malaysianwireless.com/2012/06/m...88-in-malaysia/

shows.......

Dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 CPU; PowerVR SGX540 GPU; TI OMAP 4430 chipset
Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread with Motorola’s proprietary UI; Upgradeable to Android 4.0 later

apart from that i would like to know, so now the phone still coming out with Gingerbread android is it ?
Then later we upgrade ourself to ICS ? do we get any update request while using phone ?
or do we need to do manually like reinstalling the ICS in RAZR MAXX, like getting file from motorola website or somewhere ? well i have no idea about this...
I just have doubt, like few other smart phones having issues when they upgrade to ICS...

some says getting ORI UNIT under BRIGHTSTAR is highly advisable, since AP looks cheaper but when comes to warranty claims or process its headache.. and AP sets quite frequent the problem is...
so where do u guys get the phone ? some of the friends still get cheated having AP sets, where the dealer claims its ORI, im not sure whether it was under BRIGHTSTAR or not, unless BRIGHSTAR dealing AP sets... kekeke

the 2nd spec u get a is a detailed spec, both are actually referring to the same thing.
And i believe out of box should be running Gingerbread(not sure). If out of box is running gingerbread, u may upgrade to ICS via OTA(over the air update), means u can update it on your phone via Wifi.

Actually, the specs are the same as XT910, only Razr Maxx has the edge on battery capacity. IMCC doesn't provide hardware details because they refer to gsmarena, while gsmarena doesn't provide it because it's the same. As for software, it is true that the package comes as in stock GB. You have to upgrade it yourself. You can upgrade it thru OTA.

As I said, I don't think there's any AP Razr Maxx yet. You can simply identify it when you check the package. There will be an ori warranty card and a Brightstar stamp as an authorized distributor.

You can try to get it cheaper from here, http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...hl=wts+motorola, http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...hl=wts+motorola, http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...+gadget+dot+com

Hope it helps. smile.gif

Added on July 31, 2012, 2:03 pmOh ya. The one on the right is Motorola RAZR V MT887. I supposed it's for China Market. Will it make it thru here? hmm.gif

What do you mean by via mobile internet connection? You mean 3g? If that's what you meant, I supposed the answer is yes. If you're lazy to wait, you can simply go to system update, click it, and the rest you just have to follow the instructions. smile.gif

Edit; You might wanna nego with her: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...s+motorola+razr

Good luck smile.gif

Have you tried disabling the "Display Power Saver" in the display setting? The greenish yellow hue is present on low brightness while on the mode on my phone.

Getting kinda annoyed now.. already reflash the stock rom 673.94.324.XT910.PSHASIARETAIL.en.03 everythg was fine. But tday realised some issue with the camera n my gallery. Phone will hang and restart almost evrytime i open camera. Either using the stock camera, or few other camera apps.
It will hang either when i exit, or when i view the gallery aftr snapping some pics.  Anyone got some ideas? sad.gif

Ermm anyone can help with some ideas for this issue? I already reflash using same rom, and also did factory reset. But still have the same problem with the camera. Either using default camera, other camera apps or even those barcode scanners, as long as anything to do with the camera, the phone will always freeze.have to reset using power button + Vol down and restart.. Haven't tried using other roms yet.. Dunno if it will affect warranty.. sad.gif sad.gif
