For time being, here're the cons for me of this phone after ~12 hrs of usage:

1. At low brightness settings, the display looks greenish.
2. Back camera is too exposed and possible to be scratched.
3. No dedicated camera capture key.
4. HDMI cable not included in package.
5. Camera is so-so compared to other 8mp auto-focus shooters.

is number 5 a good thing or a bad thing?

well, the stock camera has quite slow autofocus and very sensitive for my shaky hand...here're some camera sample you can look into and be the judge yourself smile.gif

How about Pro?
*
For me the pros would be:
1. 4GB internal for application install, 8GB for storage compared to 2GB for apps in Atrix.
2. Although it's wider than S2, it gives me good grip.
3. The secondary camera records 720p!
4. Camera activation can be done on lock screen which is convenient for me, a pass-by shooter.
5. I actually receive 3G signal in my room that I didn't get with Atrix.
6. Like all previous Moto phones, the vibration is strong enough to notify me.
7. the ROKR earpiece that come with the phone is very comfortable to use.
8. as off ~14 hours of continuous usage after first charge to update and install and play around, it died. battery life is good
9. you can put the phone to sleep tongue.gif

I rather not talk much on customization i made on it...i'm talking pure out-of-box smile.gif

why my droid's memory only showing 8GB? Should be 16GB right?
*
as far as I can assume is that 16GB is divided into 2 portion, 4GB for Application storage and 8GB for internal storage, idk where's the rest though~

Btw does it come along with micro sd card when you bought it?
*
well, IMCC gave me 4GB included in their RM1950 bundle but I got 8GB micro SD from my previous Atrix so that 4GB included is swapped with my Atrix's 8GB micro SD instead...never gets filled with more than 3GB though ><"

edit: just realize it was 8GB microSD

Here's my full review on the phone:
Lets start with the boot up time. SLOW. but since they implemented the sleep mode, I'll let it slide.

holding the phone made u feel like you're using one of the most advance phone ever made. KEVLAR back that's soft yet strong with least physical key to press, splash and scratch resistant made you feel safer

then after booting up, I start with outdoor video recording.
Seeing what potential in that 1080p in broad outdoor earlier today.
After 10 minutes, it overheats and my camera app hang.
A not-to-do checklist for you: "Recording under dry heat outdoor"

if the phone hanged, what do we do? hard reset? yeah I did that.
it hanged again the second time i record a video under same condition but this time it hanged after ~5 minutes. Hypothesis, accepted.

indoor, I manage to capture 15 minutes without hang or overheat but the hand cramp got me :/ no problem for indoor HD+ recording!

lets talk about signal strength. it is superb! call was super clear, data transfer are super fast (but all I did was brief social networking and application downloads)

tried the hotspot functionality. SUPERB. my laptop got ~120kb/s with the regular Celcom broadband subscription on the same phone. but that's not new since having an Atrix already exposed me to such hotspot function. it's pleasing that it's still there smile.gif I didnot try the bluetooth function, however.

colour test. this is where it annoy me...even with slightest reduction in brightness, there'll be green hue. however, even under broad daylight, i manage to use the phone well at minimal brightness...

i love the battery capacity so much... but it is to my concern that whenever my battery reached 30%, my wireless do not work correctly and keep disconnecting...i'll clarify more~

rooting the phone was simple enough and no complicated procedures.

it might not be the best phone, but i can see its potential of going further with the lapdock..thats when actual raw power of the dual core is put to test. it might not be the best shooter around (high noise), but it sure take decent enough photo after some touching up. might not be the best in broadness but it sure gave me good grip.

Based on Titanium Backup, the 16GB is:
808 MB for System ROM
4.02 GB for application install
8.59 GB for storage

total: 13.418 GB
the rest of the space went to formatting.

when I first look at the design (and price) of razr I was expecting the camera to be at least on par with, say IP4? when i read the review i skipped everything else and went straight to the camera part. its a little bit disappointing when the verdict was 'average' sad.gif
*
tbh camera quality is one to judge...basically it only sucked at low light and indoor shot

i've attached photos in low light and with flash shot with the Camera ZOOM Fx installed on my RAZR

Wow that's unfortunate. The dealer didn't replace you with a new one straight away? No 7 days return policy?

seems like IMCC does not have such policy or doesn't have any stock left ><"

Curious to know what sort of issues you are facing, care to discuss.
*
The first set bought on 11/11 was having a display problem where it displays a line on certain colour.

Then it was replaced 1-to-1 with another faulty set on 23/11 which IMCC does not aware of its network problem (couldn't hook on any network)

however, being efficient, got back another new set on 25/11... all the above problems are sorted out but yea, I can't get my wi-fi hotspot working well after rooting with Doomlord's root method. Fortunately, the hotspot back working after unroot using Doomlord's unroot method.

so yeah, can't wait for a fix update so that I can use it more than I use my Atrix smile.gif

How to copy paste using this razr?
*
For textbox
- Long hold on text box
- Select "Select All" option
- Long hold on text box again
- Select Cut/Copy

For normal text in most apps
- Long hold text
- Move marker
- Single tap on highlighted text
- Select "Share selected text" / "Copy" option

to paste, simply long hold textbox and choose "Paste" option.

Just to ask again. I feel that the screen has a yellowish tinting. White is kinda yellowish. Is it a general thing or is it due to problem on specific unit? hmm.gif
*
the greenish tint only visible on lowest brightness setting. Motorola probably release an update to resolve this issue soon among many other firmware issues smile.gif

Anyway, just sharing. The Screen Adjuster app that is in this blog post works as well on Motorola Razr. After increasing the Blue value to about 15, even at lowest brightness, the screen white no longer contain a noticable green hue. Tested on Motorola Razr. nod.gif
*
the Screen Adjuster works great in mine too! my RAZR is now issue-free biggrin.gif thanks ya!
