QUOTE(jc06 @ Jul 13 2012, 02:45 PM) Hi, would like to have some Razr users to talk about the latest ICS. still evaluating For me, It is Awesome max! Transition,Battery usage and the system overall are performing well. Anyone face some special issue? but for me so far battery had been good, performance...sometimes when ram is low might become slightly sluggish, probably need to root and freeze some bloat app edi |

QUOTE(outpace @ Jul 31 2012, 09:36 AM) the yellowish screen seems to be a big drawback for RAZR and also Samsung SII, seems like a common problem i'm an ex SGS1 user, my SGS also had the yellowish screen issue but a 3rd party developer supercurio came out with his voodoo colour to solve this problem. Hoping there will be a developer to tweak this for us as well |

QUOTE(GHOSTVIC @ Jul 31 2012, 12:57 PM) Hi guys, i planned to get RAZR MAXX... the 2nd spec u get a is a detailed spec, both are actually referring to the same thing.im not sure certain website shows the specs different specially for the hardwares... not sure which is accurate http://www.imcc.com.my/store/products.php?...orola-RAZR-MAXX shows as below... OS Android OS, v2.3.6 (Gingerbread), upgradable to v4.0 CPU Dual-core 1.2 GHz http://www.malaysianwireless.com/2012/06/m...88-in-malaysia/ shows....... Dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 CPU; PowerVR SGX540 GPU; TI OMAP 4430 chipset Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread with Motorola’s proprietary UI; Upgradeable to Android 4.0 later apart from that i would like to know, so now the phone still coming out with Gingerbread android is it ? Then later we upgrade ourself to ICS ? do we get any update request while using phone ? or do we need to do manually like reinstalling the ICS in RAZR MAXX, like getting file from motorola website or somewhere ? well i have no idea about this... I just have doubt, like few other smart phones having issues when they upgrade to ICS... some says getting ORI UNIT under BRIGHTSTAR is highly advisable, since AP looks cheaper but when comes to warranty claims or process its headache.. and AP sets quite frequent the problem is... so where do u guys get the phone ? some of the friends still get cheated having AP sets, where the dealer claims its ORI, im not sure whether it was under BRIGHTSTAR or not, unless BRIGHSTAR dealing AP sets... kekeke And i believe out of box should be running Gingerbread(not sure). If out of box is running gingerbread, u may upgrade to ICS via OTA(over the air update), means u can update it on your phone via Wifi. |
