Hi everyone. Just bought my Razr few days ago and was quite happy about it except the battery life. Anyone can share any tips to conserve battery? Thanks.

how's ur battery life so far? i'm currently using smart actions a lot, and it helps in conserving power. when i'm in the office i utilise wifi and disable 3g data. i'm also using the 2x battery extender app and it does help extend my battery life somewhat:

so far my razr can last me about 24 - 26 hours on one charge, not sure if this is a good figure? on average i do around 1 hour surfing, 30 min games, 30 min video/picture/etc, 1 hour talk on a daily basis.

first. i did not root either my sgs2 or my razr.. jz stay original.. n im lazy lololol


since both are also gingerbread.. the interface are basically same..
internet, somehow i feel tat razr r rather faster, even though using the same digi plan.
battery , definitely razr lasted longer.

camera.. the downpart of razr.. haha so u get wat i mean

the startup time for razr is like foreverrrrrrrr
for UI, its much more smoother compare with s2
so far, i havent experience any overheating problem with my razr which my s2 always do tat
another prob with my s2, i dunno whether its me only or other users also experienced tat, it always auto reboot itself. lol. havent encounter tat with razr yet


lastly, in outlook, razr is bigger, sleek, stylish due to the back kevlar.. unlike s2's plastic thingy ... which i think is why the overheating is so serious

my 1st hard casing from ebay, abit too thick..... ordered the nillkin skin case, waiting delivery, should be thinner....

hey peeps...any idea why my RAZR hotspot sometimes working sometimes no working?

details:
- Rooted stock 2.3.5 ROM
- frozen some bloats

so I wonder which service shouldn't I freeze to avoid this unstable hotspot issue (frozen too much that I'm lazy to unfroze 1 by 1)?

or is there any workaround?

Noticed browser scrolling become much smoother. The definite increment is its java score. Still have issues with motorola.service force close though. Can't get motocast to deodex properly. Need help from the droid big leaguers, although they are working on ics port

Btw, anyone having problem with the flash? I cant seem to use flash when taking pictures, but it works on vid cam.

I could initially, then dont know why now adays i cant. Refuses to allow me to use flash. Cant even select auto mode. When i click on the flash icon says " flash adjustment not available in this capture mode. "

even after restarting phone a million times it does not change. blardy weird!

Hi everyone, can you guys help me with my Razr? I got my Razr last Friday, wifi working well. Then streamx down Saturday till today. And I finally got my Unifi today! So I tested my wifi with the new Unifi, expect it to be faster, but my Razr keeps unable to load the webpage.

Default webpage is google.com and that loads very fast. I make searches on google also very fast. But once I start to go to websites like facebook or lowyat then the loading takes forever. 10 tries, only 1 time able to successfully load, the rest of the 9 times just load halfway then unable to load.

One thing I notice is that with my streamyx router I am able to detect wireless and use it from upstairs but after changing to Unifi, can't even go to google upstairs and when sit next to the Unifi router, the signal is just 3~4 bars out of 5.

Definitely not the Unifi router because my laptop working very fast and can detect the wireless upstairs perfectly.

Can anybody tell me what is wrong with my Razr? How come suddenly wifi so slow already? I am really worried about my 1 week old Razr... Please help...

I hav a problem with my 2 weeks old razr. it cannot send mms. the apn I use is the default that celcom sends when first time get this phone. I have searched this forum n no result.so, kindly pm me if u got the answer.your assistance is highly appreciated.

After some tweakings, now a full charge could last me about 14 to 16 hours with moderate usage. I do not have wifi connection in my office so about 10 hours i will be on edge network (3G off). Seldom use my phone to call out because i could use company phone 10% brightness, moderate surfing and facebooking, seldom game.

With the above power conserving, yesterday the phone could last me around 16 hours. Which is still quite low. Also i set the phone to off cellular network whenever it connected to my home wifi.

Any tips u could share on how to make your phone batt last for more than 20 hours?

PS: i have installed 2x battery as well.

Update: Now I am at office and the wifi at office runs smoothly with my phone. Even though the wifi signal is not full but still able to surf websites really fast. Is there something wrong with my Unifi that is at home or is it something wrong with the compatibility with the Unifi router?

Another question, anyone here playing sprinkle? I noticed the " water " is not really like water, but more like dots of water. Not the fluid type of water that my friend has on his s2. Anyone facing similar problem?

@villa07, no ours does not have 4g. Our 3g also not so good, doubt even if our razr was 4g would it be of any good.
