Hi nice people here. Currently just thought of buying a console and wheels. Got a budget of around 3k (if got extra will buy other game titles too).


So which one should i get? Forza 4 or GT5?

Graphics-wise i'm more inclined towards forza 4, but i got no idea on either games gameplay-wise. So any help will be appreciated here, still a noob in console gaming.

forza 4 - very nice game, must try

gt5 - highly overrated by some crazy naive fans

nfs shift 2 - overall its the BEST

Forza 4, but not because it's a better nor worse game, it's because you can get Forza 2 and 3 as well for XBox for your racing sim need while you have GT5 + Prologue only if you are getting PS3. Alternatively get XBox 360 + Wireless Speed Wheel + Forza 4 + PS3 + GT5 (your budget should be enough for all these), but then you'll have to wait a little longer to get the racing wheel, G27 I suppose.

TS, if possible try both game first, if you got friends that own both . you wont be disappointed with either game

actually by that amount i gonna build racing set with seat, plus a display, so based on some googling there wont be much left from my budget.

not gonna put other type of games into the equation, since i'm abit old already and those are just not to my liking.

btw atm i can only afford one system (reason above), so it's more likely which one should be my first choice for racing. well, if i got money later i'll buy the other one (hopefully).

on another note, if there's any way i can save through diy frame it'll be appreciated.

imho, i think you should concentrate on = console+game+wheels first. If you got a table (computer table) thats good enough

oh i see. imho, you can get PS3 + GT5 + Logitech GT. price would be around 1.5k. the rest you can get the seat and display of your choice. Or you might want consider Logitech G27 around 1k iinm.

playing forza 4 demo, super impressive!

btw TS should try both games in game store. that shouldnt be hard since both are flagship racing game for both consoles.

GT5.

If you want accurate driving physics with exact replicated tracks, GT5 it is.

If you want arcade type tracks with nice sounding cars, get that other... whats it called?

Im a ps3 owner and played GT5... overall playing time less than 5hrs,

As a previous xbox owner.. forza 3 was good.. dont know bout the new forza 4

Also as a pc gaming owner, NFS Shift is good

Hmmm.. would not recommend to get xbox360.. xbox360 almost end of life already..

If u into console I'll get the PS3, but not GT5... maybe some other game

IF i were you, i tried to get a gaming PC... baru best.. but not the good news, a good gaming PC is quite expensive.. minimum to get nvidia GTX560, the game card alone also cost like rm800..
n throw in also the logitect driving force GT, rm500
since u dont have a display, i'll go for a HD ready LCD, rm800 (should be sufficient) no need to worry bout full HD with this screen size..

playseat... mean time just use normal chair la.. or cheap pc desk (modified).. less than rm100.. that wat im using now
