to everybody else, to be fair, both games got their own merit in 'realism' aspect. but that should stop just there.

Forza 4 got its tyre and suspension physics modeled much better. turn off assist and run few laps, see how the car behave. But sometimes the way it behaves with tracks aren't that realistic.
GT5 got a better body physics modeled than Forza 4, no doubt. But it falls short in some part where Forza 4 excels in physics-modelling.

Remember, I'm not even saying either one is realistic. One just got a better-modeled physics in certain part than another, and vice-versa. There's no such thing as 'realism' in a racing game as for now. In fact, no matter how we perceive one is more superior than another in either part, the physics modelling are actually pretty much simplified to be deemed 'real'. It's not like both the outdated consoles can cope with crunching gigantic amount of physics data alone, in real time.

Saying either one is more real than another is like the neverending stupid argument of battlefield vs call of duty. There's no way the guns can be simulated pretty close on the current hardware, not to say how the damage system works. and there's much less to say on a far more complex physics modelling like, errr, cars. on consoles.

Utter the word 'realism' here again and you're just a victim of PR and false advertising. BTW i love both games because both are great games. Games.

TS should just try both games at game shop first.
