@slade_clan, I assume you got black screen after the big GAMELOFT logo? Are you installing v1.02? You should find something like Modern_Combat_2_Black_Pegasus_HD_Samsung_Galaxy_S_GT-i9000_(Samsung_Appstore_18_August_2011)_v1.0.3_Xxxxxxxx_xxxxxx from the net. The size is 5.50MB. And you have to download the game data into your i9100G which is around 284MB. The folder of the game is GloftH085. Good luck.

@slade_clan, sorry mate I never try playing eternal legacy hd on the i9100G but you should just use google search. This is one of the killer game for hi-end android smartphone, there must be thousands of 'GOOD' result on google. Just pick the most trusted android forum and you should good to go... wink.gif

How about the triangle issue? I dont have any USB Jig. Can i still continue to root?

not for u. u can be rooted with myGkernel, but not with yellow triangle. as no stock kernel for DZKJ2 is pulled yet.

No need to download the firmware (and you already on that latest FW).

If you just want to root then no worry about the yellow triangle thingy on boot screen.

But if you plan to flash MyGkernel and installing custom rom then you will have the yellow triangle thing

every time you reboot your SGS2. You'll need usb jig to clear that yellow triangle. But as I read on xda forum, they said you have to have older bootloader as DZKI1/2.3.5 nor DZKJ2 will not work with the jig!

Me myself still on 2.3.5/DZKI1 rooted and get stuck here not sure what's the best to do next whistling.gif

I dont understand. Sorry for my question. What is myGkernel? , What do you mean by "not with yellow triangle"?

How do i ensure :-

"Before u begin:
(1) make sure u have installed adb drivers for ur device"
- Where do i get this adb drivers? Is it in the DoomLord folder the "adb.exe"?

Hi all;
Before this i use second method to root and was successful, but after i update firmware (2.3.6)with Kies, the root was gone. Now i use the DoomLord method to root but unsuccessful. Not sure which place when wrong. any idea?Attached File  root_1atmp.txt ( 3.51k ) Number of downloads: 14

Do we need to insert the usb jig everytime the phone restarts? *im consfused*

Can you assist me regarding the Step 1 of rooting *ensure the adb is installed in your device* <-- is this the file inside DoomLord folder? adb.exe?

Need some advise before i start rooting.

ops, sry, i mean, u can be rooted, but about the yellow triangle, i dont know how to erase it, as stock kernel is needed, or usb jig, but i dont have one to try whether usb jig worked for DZKJ2 version. anyhow, i dont mind much about yellow triangle.

p/s: but still, i want to have stock kernel. smile.gif

If I'm not mistaken, it'll automatically installed when u installed kies on your machine..correct me if i'm wrong. cause before I installed kies, I can't run my android project on my phone.. after i installed kies then i can test it..

So in this case, if i have Kies in my device, i should not worry about rooting using DoomLord tools?

Thus i can straight to proceed by executing RUNME.bat? An follow the steps. Correct?
