okay. I read a few threads about the Q&A on rooting. But what exactly is ClockworkMod Recovery?
*
ClockworkMod Recov is an app? I think, that allows you to flash custom ROMs on your phone. Bro Wira_lover,please correct me if im wrong. smile.gif

from what i know, it helps with data connection. like the transfer speeds, or when the network changes from H+ to 3g and such. i dont know if it can affect reception signal cause i think that is based on the hardware and location. when i flashed modems, i always check the signal db and i didnt see any changes. when i was at the exact same location after flashing

okay. so for cm9 right im not sure la, cause when i was using it, the camera had some major issues, like pink spots, and camera out of focus, etc. some ppl didnt face this prob, and some ppl said use a third party app solved it. but for me i like the stock one, and wasnt happy with that. other than that, the CM( is superb. is damn smooth fast and seriously damn good rom.

i then used divine ROM. and this is good for me. still fast adns mooth, camera works fine and overall really good for me. IMHO this is my favourite.

just follow the tutorials/links i posted from the XDA thread. and you will be fine. follow the rooting guide. then look for divine rom thread and follow the instructions

Guys, how do I set my phone internet browser to always display in landscape? Back on GB,there was an option in the settings that made it possible. But now on ICS,there's no such option. Im using stock ROM and browser, fyi. Thanks! Also,i disabled auto orientation because i don't need it.

to all s2g owners who want to try different roms and need some guidance, do check out the XDA threads for all your s2g needs. there are now a fair bit of different roms you can try smile.gif

as usual, read through all the topics and steps before you proceed smile.gif

question is the baseband version thingy which is also call modem? still is DXPL6... how does that impact the phone? and do we need to update them accordingly?
