Nice answer Creezalird, i wouldn't mind using chinese online sync for my calendar, if it would support english lol, but when the global chinese qq network doesn't even exist online in english, only a pc outdated online client, well, that's not the best solution i know for foreigners ... Looks like i'm stuck with local calendar unless loading french i9100g rom, and i'll wait ICS to do that, so far everything else is working quite well and samsung is kinda generous with chinese clients on the chinese samsung app store, since it's the only official way to get apps when you're stock rom without other stores

For those in asian regions with blocked modern combat 3 download, i managed to download the data by using a vpn ... Modern Combat 3 is free with samsung apps

Another information i can give you, chinese android forums seems a little bit late on roms, and they mainly use xda posted kernels to root.
Another point is I9100 v2 which apparently is our i9100g has been officially announced in Europe.
I have a question, do some of you have troubles with stock music player ?
I'm really having troubles with it, no crash, but sometimes it makes some noice while playing music, i expect the problem to be tied to the proximity sensor bug ( red light ) but unsure ...
did u joined the FB group of i9100G? people over there are kind of moving slowly and helping each other, u should check it out, quite a nice group eventhough sometimes they speak malay...lols..
https://www.facebook.com/groups/20370338972...=group_activitystock music seems to be having many bugs, some of it are hang during playing, noisy sound etc.
just try another music player from market, i am using google music myself. simple and clean

Hi Creezalird,
I followed your guide until the stage:
Adding CWM support if required (if you need to flash custom rom)
ß Download "ktool" from Android Market
ß Download one of the rooted kernel
¸ Superatmos
(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1369977)
¸ MyGKernel
(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1327509)
ß Extract the .tar file and put the zImage file in the root of internal sdcard
(/sdcard/zImage), not the root of external sdcard
ß Run "ktool" and select "Flash kernel from /sdcard/zImage"
ß After succeed, select button "Reboot"
When I run the ktool and select Flash Kernel from /sdcard/zImage
it says Error: "/sdcard/zImage doesnt exist
Anyone have any idea?
did u extract/copy the zimage file to the mentioned place?
it should be like this
/sdcard/zImage ( zImage is a file, not a folder )
usually the rooted kernel (ie superatmos, lucifr, mygkernel) is in a zip/tar form, u need to extract it to get the zImage only
after flashed with ktool, reboot immediately using the reboot button.
