as far as i know, nowadays in malaysia, almost all shops are selling the G version, u can only get non G thru AP set or second hand.

u have made the right assumption, of coz i am using G version too..lols, i even made a comprehensive guide for it..lols

not differs too much, both are still 2.3.6, only small minor bugfixes.

for easy rooting without voiding warranty, upgrade to KJ2. because KL3 cant be rooted with doomlord (refer my guide)

if u are keeping the warranty, just flash KJ2 and use doomlord method to root.
after u have the CWM, u can flash custom rom from others.

but like me, i am sticking with my own modded stock. much better

plz read more. it seems like u dont even understand the differences between the non G and G version. that was why u bricked ur phone before

cm9 ics is only for non g version.

not really, depends on which method of rooting u preferred.
doomlords method needs u to downgrade to KJ2
odin method can be used without upgrade but will void ur warranty as it will increase binary counter

if u read my guide, u will know how, i have made the guide as simple as possible so that it should be noob-proof and noob-reliable

if it was not found from phone, then of course u need to update it from Kies or flashing using Odin.
preferably using Odin as u will get a copy of the rom itself. see my guide in my signature for instruction on how to update. for downloading latest firmware, get checkfus downloader (google it plz).

btw DZKJ2 only so far can be rooted with doomlord zergrush method.
latest DZKL3 and maybe other need to be rooted using Odin with rooted kernel

2. the red tiny LED keep turning ON by itself (not sure when), so i have to make a call and end call to turn it off. : question too? , i think in fb group, someone is giving the link fix for this.
3. game (Trial Xtreme) graphic distort sometime. : it is expected maybe due to gpu nature
4. phone hang when incoming call interrupt camera : never once experienced it, so not sure, but camera in samsung kind of buggy, so it is predictable to have the hang especially when memory is not enough or gpu in constant use.

of course, just download DZKJ2 rom using checkfus downloader (or any of ur preferred method) and flash it using odin like in my guide.

My phone detect another firmware update but im worrying it is actually the same .. which is 2.3.5 .. is it possible for it to update to 2.3.5 from 2.3.4 b4 to 2.3.6 ? thanks for fast reply

Tick USB debugging (settings->Applications->Development), if unticked before
Tick Unknown sources (settings->Applications)
Using windows task manager, "end task" ADB.exe and all KIES related software if running

if yes, try changing another usb port and reinstall Kies or repair Kies driver from inside Kies

notification bar should not be showing MTP because u already ticked debug mode.
try restart pc or phone after ticked

depends on ur system, sometimes the driver is not installed properly. need to remove KIES all and reinstall KIES again.

nope, ktool only for kernel flashing.
if u are using doomlord method, u are rooted but without CWM
to get CWM flash any rooted kernel using ktool

CWM can be used to flash custom rom

which means, flash latest stock rom with odin.

after that flash rooted kernel. this is the only method to root so far for KL3 as doomlord method is not working anymore for this version

as for now i am using self-modded stock rom.

but everyone have different opinions. just give it a try if u want.

should be yes. and follow the rom's thread insctructions in case if any special methods required.

oh btw please do efs backup and stock rom backup first. just as precautions.

yes it is better to flash stock latest and reset everything after that.
all will be removed.

theoritically if u are utilizing google to the max, contacts,calendars,emails all are stored inside ur gmail account.
u can only restore app with titanium. not stuff like contacts
