Glad to see ur patience to still answer man....

I would like to add something that apparently no one think about and it's because of this reasoning that i found the trick about memory usage for the doomlord method. Before complaining about battery drain, you guys should take a look at your standard use memory usage, each widget launch a background process that eats memory, and this can go quite high, for now i'm still running zcki1, okd stock rom, but i keep my phone under control, only a few usefull widgets, and i try to keep a memory usage under 400mb. The more memory it uses, the less battery will last.
I tried some memory managers, but gingerbread memory management doesn't really need those, i simply kill process that i do not beed when i start the phone. This way i am able to stay up to 2 days without the need to recharge. Creezalird and other experienced guys might confirm, but i am really doubtfull that a different kernel changes anything on that, in my opinion, everything on battery life is tied to what process you actually do run ... Different kernel can change the way memory manager handles process memory usage, but not how many process you run. That's just my 2 cents, but i feel that's kind of wrong to put the fault on a kernel for a battery "drain".

After successfully rooted with doomlord.. I found that the battery drain REALLY fast!!. I dono is it becos of the root, or is the go launchers apps that i downloaded.

this morning 8am charged 100%, now at 10am (didn't even use the phone, only on bluetooth when driving to work), the battery now left 50%!! no data, no gps, nothing!!

anybody facing this problem?

Well,I would try flashing using phone,if only I have money to buy Mobile Odin Pro. Using Everrot enables root even after flashing right? Well,too bad I don't have any means to get Pro Odin. 

yeah i just thought no harm in doing it.hehe i used 2 methods.

switched off phone and full charge. remove battery 180secs. and put it back in switch on.

and also using the batterycalliberation app.

didnt notice any changes after doing it.

will need to google on that rom bro, cause im still new to all this and it seems rooting is just the beginning.

now im reading on this thunderbolt script..and try to learn more and more

I downloaded your pdf and now thinking to flash it with Superatmos.

one question, I rooted with doomLord previously and my phone is KJ2. In the XDA forum for Superatmos, there are two download link,

v2.2: BASED ON JPKK1
v2.1: BASED ON DZKL3

Can I use v2.1, which is based on DZKL3 is it compatible with my phone which is in DZKJ2?

Creezalird, just to make sure it's ok with you, i spreaded your guide on a dedicated galaxy s2 french forum, do you mind if i translate it into french ? You'll keep the credit for the writing, don't worry, just that they are kind of late on I9100G information, and it hurt my eyes to see people flashing insecure kernel to remove yellow triangle and so on ...

Hi there,

I have finished rooting my I9100G KJ2 and it has been rooted as i am using the DooMLoRD's Easy Rooting Toolkit 4.

After that, i follow the guides and i flash the kernel to have the CWM. The kernel i used was the zImage from superatmos v2.2.

Now, i lost my root and i cant do any backup anymore. I wish to backup using titanium backup and also i wanted to use CWM.

What should i do now? Only thing i can think of is:
1. Download the KJ2 original firmware
2. Flash the zImage found inside the firmware
3. Re-root again

Is this workable?

hi...i have few questions...according to creezalird guide...the way to remove yellow triangle is to use ktool n flash samsung stock kernel..

1)do we have to live with the yellow triangle if we want to use the rooted kernel say superatmos kernel?coz flashing samsung stock kernel to remove the triangle will overwrite the superatmos kernel rite?

2)does removing the binary count (mahadir guide) will also remove the yellow triangle?

Mmm, yellow triangle is because of non official kernel.
Removing binary counter would only reset this one ...
I might be wrong, but i guess it's a 2 steps way to remove both ...

ya ya i dun really understand that part..but now its all clear....thanks 2 u creezalird...im rooted now..but it seems i have a lil problem...ive use the superatmos kernel 2.1.1(superatmos said its dzkl3 version of v3.0)...when i check at kernel version  its unchange..it should change to somethg else rite?..superuser is installed as well as the cwm app..when i try to reboot into CWM it goes into the stock recovery...no CWM...should i just use the V3.0 instead?

Creezalird, i'm a little surprised here, i thought you could flash superatmos through CWM ?

You just told the guy that he needed to flash superom with Odin, and i was more advising to flash it with CWM to avoid binary counter increase, correct me if i'm wrong, but with CWM you do not increase binary counter ...? Or i don't get the point going through CWM ...

My bad, in my answer i did confound both, superatmos kernel and superrom.
But still, i thought that flashing superatmos kernel and superrom through CWM could avoid the binary counter increase, apparently i was wrong on the kernel part ? Or maybe it is the contrary, i'm a bit lost on this ^^
