yeah agree, E220 was a amazing modem together with ZTE MF680, they are from the most pioneer tech in malaysia here 3.6Mbps modem,

after u shift your router, any improvement on speed ?

well trust me, temperature inside the modem is much much higher than you thought

i guess direct plug in router reduce your signal lost,.

if u can get rid of the pigtail cable, i am sure your signal lost will be much lesser than now even,..

u can ry to get a CRC9 gold plated convertor from blacktubi

if want more towards stable get E372,

if want to break QoS speed barrier get ZTE MF680

personally i prefer ZTE MF680, it can help to breaking through QoS barrier speed

yea you bet, am waiting for convertor to pair my ZTE MF680 with my Panel antenna,.

so u can imagine the ZTE MF680 speed monster + panel result =

You are rich in budget to spend for anything in your gadget, of course you can,

well, many here is not as rich in budget as you,.

so have to plan well before buying , TL-MR3420 V1 flash with openwrt is superb good enough,.

unles V2 is compatible with openwrt or else i will stay with my V1


speed with tl-mr3420 V1 openwrt + zte mf680

my area Maxis do run DC capabilty, but speed confirm is not 42Mbps,..

DC sometimes also can be = 1.5Mbps x 2

u can get it from Digilife, he have so many Collection

dont have extra one,

but if u really want, i could help you to get one and flash it with open wrt ready and sent it to you lo

this is not really for business la,

if they wanted my help, i dont mind as can help them out,

they can buy the router and send to me for flashing too, if they wish

Result after open up the Router cover,

now the server fan blowing directly to inside board
hope the router dont catch cold,

noticeable different after open up router cover, performances is much more stable with ZTE MF680 now,. i think issue all these while is my router quite warm inside, that's why

did u flash openwrt ? if u did, then follow first post on how to set auto ping google in router with that command to prevent connection become idle,

if u are using tp link stock firmware, then use your computer to ping goole, open command prompt ( CMD ),
key in : ping 8.8.8.8 -t press enter after

you are refering to Getting purple Led instead of Blue led ? right ?

what modem you are using ?


Modem device:
zte mf680 = /dev/ttyUSB1
E372 = /dev/ttyUSB0

if cannot select, reboot the router first

system -> reboot -=> performs reboot

after reboot, check the modem device setting there, for correct selection USB0 or USB1

Select CUstom in modem device

then key in : /dev/ttyUSB0

select save and apply

system

reboot

perform reboot

login LuCI interface GUI

select modem device with " /dev/ttyUSB0 " in prefix

select save and apply,

system

reboot

performs reboot

once reboot done login LuCI,

it will auto connect

remember to set auto ping google command in the schedule task section,
