Additional : That bolt like structure can be tighten by hand

mine is tighten from day 1 i buy,. i never really touch that part since that router hard move from the best spot start from day 2,..

luckily i got 1 to 1exchabge next monday at 4PM

thats y i thought at 1st is the screw. then i took the screw out the whole gold color thingy is shaking

guys , im new user ..currently using e367 , but how to set the modem to use 3g only ..my modem keep on disconeecting from the router

there is simple step as below

- Go to -> here to download the MDMA 1.0.0.31 Beta 10

- plug in your Huawei E367 modem into your computer usb port

- close any Dashboard / Modem software if it pop up

- To use MDMA connect your Huawei modem, U need to create a RAS( 2 TV + 1 telephone icon / dial up ) connection so your MDMA will connect when u click connect

- go to open network and sharing centre

- set new connection or network

- connect to internet

- choose dial up

- set the *99# dial number

- connection name -> MDMA

- click connect

- click skip

- run MDMA that u download

- select 3G only, set your telco APN ( access point name ) like : Maxisbb, celcom3g, my3g, etc etc in the blank

- click connect inside MDMA

- after the MDMA dial up connection connected,, hit the Band config button

- select manual instead of automatic band

- tick Uncheck all

- then tick UMTS2100MHz only ( really make sure u tick this only correctly !!! )

- click apply and ok


above method should set your E367 always concentrate to UMTS2100MHz 3H/HSDPA/HSPA/HSPA+ only,

DDWRT not stable with 3G modem right now.

Bought this router at compu zone digital mall ...rm85 ...try to use it on digi network ....signal strength about 87% ... Fast connect to 3G after plugged in the modem... Awaiting maxis unlimited sim card ...

OpenWRT is the most stable now

this setting will effect the tp link router after i plug in the modem ?

that method is making your E367 modem concentrate on UMTS 2100MHz 3G network only, after u setup, no matetr u direct plug into usb or use with router, your modem will concentrate in UMTS210MHz signal only

this is the best combo, cheap and no need to flash any FW, just buy a fan as shown and a highspeed modem

That's totally not the issue of router
