before you delete the file, make sure you do this at es file explorer: setting > tick root explorer > tick mount file system

the display does get warm, its normal. kinda like how lcd tv screen generates heat as well.

but if its frying your fingers, then thats another story.

when i was using GB - leedroid v.4.3.3 kernel bricked 1.6b6 (1.3ghz, undervolt -75), it tends to heat up pretty quick especially when i was browsing via mobile network after half an hour or so. cpu temperature easily goes up to 60 degree celcius.

phone is running much, much cooler now with ICS 4.0.3 which i barely feel the warmed up screen

yeah fix with the sound set issue, just don't know my root explorer and mount system file was unchecked until teh_master mention just now thanks teh_master.

my screen is much cooler with ICS 4.0.3 compare with GB cheers!

Added on January 27, 2012, 12:08 pmFind bugs in Leedroid V6.0.0-ICS, when i enter setting>incoming call ringtone, and notification sound it come up with error said that 'unfortunately, setting has stopped'. Anyone else has encounter this error message?

@kaheng20: it is good that you managed to delete the sound set download manager. for the error message that you encouter, try to fix permissions and reboot. see if that helps.

I feel that HTC aluminium body more easily to get scratched compare to plastic body of SGS2 despite the body is stronger as made of aluminium.

Not any part of the screen, only around "menu" and "back" button..

And the difference of the temperature between idle and running is quite serious.. I will bring it back to the seller later..

I went back to the shop, the sales girl say it is normal to have this problem, i almost fainted but she said come back on Monday, she will ask the technician to check.. btw, i am in Cambodia, i bought this unit in local shop, is the warrranty different?

i tried to email htc.com, pop up error " internal server error", speechless..

What you can do is to download "Antutu" from the android market and do a speed test, if the processor speed is correct then yours should be original otherwise.....

the youtube video is a phone looks exactly like hTC Sensation!!!

i downloaded AndroSensor and checked the device info.. everything looks ok.. the CPU sometimes 1 core, sometimes 2 cores... the battery temperature is at 30-35 degree Celsius..

now seems like i play games or surfing for 10 minutes, heat up very fast, but cool down very fast also..

hope it doesn't have any problem, maybe tonight i will play game kao kao, stress it, see whether will auto reboot or not..

hahahaha... for my sensation, normally it can go up till about 55 degrees before rebooting... I once surpass that to 60.7...

now a days I look for ways to make the phone cooler... I even cut the current TPU case to make the phone cooler ... next plan is buying a metal back case so that it is easier to release heat....

yesterday i bought Sensation XL.

i wonder, Sensation XL can't make direct video call?

for example, on my Galaxy Note, if i view a contact information in my phonebook, there is a button for video calling, if i tap it, it will straight do a video call. but, i tried to make a video call using the Sensation XL, i just couldn't find any option to do it. then i tried use Skype. the Skype also appeared to don't have the video call button (in which, on my Note, there is a video call button). Then, i saw there is Tango app pre-installed in the XL. so i install tango on my Note. Using Tango, only then i can make video call between the two phone.

i need some clarification here.. is Sensation XL can or cannot make a native video call?

As far as i know so far only galaxy series can make native video calls only

i tried to generate the error you shared, but i got a different error. it is due to removal of htc sound set download manager earlier. it doesnt allow me to change ringtone / notification tone / alarm tone

so i did a reflash without wipe, gonna bear with the error message pop up twice upon reboot for the time being.
