Hi Bro,

I know this is not what you are looking for but it's the closest I can find.

Quick question, are you buying from a forumer? if yes, a Senior forumer or with alot of stars normally wont cheat you smile.gif

Totally agree with you bro! honestly I have 2 smartphone. 1 is a HTC Sensation and the other is the Galaxy S.

I too (like you) find that Sense is somehow screwing up ICS cause on the Galaxy S (no-sense phone) ICS is working nicely.

I hope HTC comes up with a FIX asap. I also tried 4.0.3 with Sense 3.5... even worst... its a headache to even put shortcuts. haih....  rclxub.gif

Why don't you try Virtuous Inquisition v3.0?There's very little (non)Sense left on it,runs smooth and cool as well.

I think most roms have it, but I love having sense, it just make sense to have sense smile.gif hahahaha... actually I find Sense very user friendly, sadly till HTC fixes this.. i have no choice but to live with errors.. sad.gif

Hi Bro,

It will go warm depending on how long you are using it. I suggest you download Elixir 2 Widget. it has a tempreture meter it will show you the tempreture of the phone.

In general, the longer you power the phone up... the hotter it gets.

This is easy. Xe is dual core, xl is single core.

I see... for Sensation it is a common thing. But just to confirm again you mean that the home buttons area or the back of the home buttons area?

For me it is at the back and not at the front, same goes for my elder bro only at the back and not the front. However, I recently played this one game called defender.. after 30-40 mins of playing the front screen goes heaty.

Basically you need to know the amount of time you use it also to correctly gauge the heat issue.

Hope this helps. smile.gif

How long have you been using it before it starts heating up? Resource-demanding app will cause your phone to heat up very quickly because your processor is running at high load. But when charging or having the wifi on without having apps running, it may be a little weird for it to heat up. hmm.gif

It happens. Desire HD is Single Core
Sensation is dual core
Most dual core phones will get hot. Nothing bad will happen, Don't worry.

At a max, your phone will be too hot and then reboot or becomes unstable. Once you let the heat goes away, it should be OK again smile.gif

My Sensation XE heating problem is at the home button area, not at the back. I noticed it will heat up after 15-20minutes after i on wifi and go Android Market for "shopping", however no heating problem if i on wifi and leave it idle.. shocking.gif

Ah, then I suspect it is the screen heating... if you play games for 20 mins++ also you will face the same thing.

If the back heats up then it is the processor. smile.gif

If you want to play safe, you can send it back for check but I think the techie will advise you the same.

you reminded me to try to restart and see if the sound set error is resolved by deleting the sound set download manager. just tried restarting, confirm it is solved.

solution: using esfile explorer (remember to mount system), locate the file at /system/app and delete it.
*
I delete the sound set download manager with the esfile explorer, and it said delete completed, but why the file is still there and I restart my phone the same error message come out any clue?

Running on Leedroid supersensational V6.0.0-ics for almost 24hours no freeze with great battery life, happy with Leedroid V6.0.0-ics except the error message above smile.gif.

Yeah, I am sure you will get a one to one exchange if its really a device fault smile.gif

Addon:

Thing is I sorta have the same feedback from almost all smartphone owners even for Galaxy Note and Galaxy S & SII... screen will go hot after some time.
