QUOTE(numerical @ Oct 20 2011, 09:29 PM) I bought during SII launching back then was rm70. No SP summore! Black barelythere vs my red nillkin, I prefer the feel of nillkin. Too bad the casemate is not durable as I thought. [attachmentid=2495439] casemate not durable?? u go try casemate tough/ casemate pop and c. barely there is somehow similiar to neo hybrid, gives u the slimness, and compromise with the durability and protection. Added on October 20, 2011, 11:36 pmQUOTE(ashwin1234 @ Oct 20 2011, 11:33 PM) Hmm, I keep reading that leaving wifi turned on doesn not have any ill-effect on battey life. I do not use a data plan, so I am wondering if leaving wifi on at home will actually help. One guy even said that GPS can be leaved on, because it is only switched on when an app requires it, otherwise it is available but off...what do you people think? yeah. on/off doesnt bring any effect as long as the app requiring them r not running at background. wifi mayb a bit hard to say no effect, cz ur market probably will update apps, n some of ur apps may schedule refreshing as long as data is connected no matter its wifi or 3g. but for gps... rather than the google latitude pack and ur gps software, i dun c any other thing will make it function all the time. ** correct me if i'm mistaken This post has been edited by Fallenangelz: Oct 20 2011, 11:36 PM

QUOTE(spicyfooty @ Oct 20 2011, 11:18 PM) yes, it's very choppy in low light....what i did was to flash the cam firmware. Now it's ok but lost the flashlight function during video recording. camera shooting still has flash though. Wow! May I have the link to where you get the firmware? I don't mind sacrificing flashlight on video recording.

Battery is at 17%, GPS on, Wifi on, phone in flight mode, Advanced Task Killer set to kill every 30 mins, all the Hubs frozen, Maps frozen, SPB weather update every 2 hours, most of the apps in the Market set to auto-update...if my phone is still awake by 9 tomorrow with 10% battery left, then I can conclude that leaving GPS and Wifi on has little to no effect!!

I don't mind sacrificing flashlight on video recording. google SIEG03 cam firmware. u need to flash it using certain code. yes, no more stutter in low-light. first i thought its hardware prob. that's why i asked in this thread but no one seems to notice this. luckily, it's just programming prob that can be solved by flashing unofficial cam firmware.

Ah. I see. Btw, I accidentally flash the Phone to SIEG03 too! Will anything bad happen? lol. EDIT: Yep. No more lag at any light condition. Autofocus working well too! The drawback is no flashlight at all (including using it as a torch). Flash will now only work @ camera. This post has been edited by 11768: Oct 21 2011, 12:38 AM

Yes, always on when at home. Even while charging. Only turn off when I'm going out but now that i'm using green power I set it to off when screen is off. Not much difference on battery life though but its handy when connection is low it will just turn off wifi rather then sucking the battery juice.
