For official accessories, Nokia care centre are the legimate place to go to and by right the first people to get them, even nokia concept store will not have the full inventory as compared to the people at nokia care centre.

I am looking for the official case CC-1020, unless you know else where are selling.
*
From what I know and verified by my personal experience with them, Nokia care centres are just sub-contractors of Nokia whom Nokia outsource the servicing. They are not even part of Nokia.

I don't know where to get the official case. Have you tried online?

I usually get a lock in less than 1 min without A-GPS and no signal break. On PR1.1.

Landscape mode for homescreen is cute but still show the same number of icons. What I want is a landscape/portrait orientation lock to stop the screen flipping when I don't want it to.

Anybody tried Zones by Nokia? Quite pricey at RM10 but what does it do?

Added on December 28, 2011, 10:53 pmHere's an app I want to recommend. PinMarks.me allows others to track your location on a webpage in real time. Useful if you are delivering ransom for a kidnap victim. Not so useful it your spouse wants to track you.

Guys, I found this tool which was on my wish list;

Now we can all transfer files conveniently between our n9 and our PC easy and simple way - via WIFI.

Cheers all and happy new year.

MyExplorer is a paid app by a commercial developer. Can you please remove your link to the cracked app? There are so few commercial developers for N9 now, if we don't support them we will end up with nothing.

I agree it is a very useful utility and I paid for mine.

Why want to cut when changing a NEW micro SIM, looks better and you can put together again become normal SIM, for only RM20?
At first I thought it was expensive to change to micro SIM, so I went and cut it. It worked at first but one day SUDDENLY it just refused to work, and you will also notice after you cut the SIM, the edges may not be even or is sharp, etc. Is this worth the hassle just to save RM20?
*
Did you cut yourself or cut at the Nokia shop? The Nokia shop cut for me using a SIM cutter and it works perfectly. The remaining portion can be used as an adapter if you need to go back to normal SIM. Why spend RM20 for micro-SIM plus RM10 for an adapter if you can save the monney?

i just recharge the phone. Now it show 52mA for idle. I only on wifi, skype, alarm, feed and 3h interval auto update fb

*
If you don't use 3G you can reduce idle current by setting your mobile network to GSM instead of 3G or Dual. For 3G or Dual, 52mA is quite normal.

To summarize in brief:

1) Cut doesn't mean you will get network problem.

2) Buy micro-SIM doesn't mean no network problem.

So what is the proper way? There is no proper way, so just do what you feel comfortable with.

Mine is an early unit. Initially there was a greenish tinge when viewing at an angle but now it has disappeared.

Maxis has a max data charge of RM250.00 a month. Sometimes they don't follow their own rules but you can dispute
the bill. Check your data plan for the max charge.

Guys, what's the best deal for 64G N9 currently? My friend is looking for one and I am helping him to survey. Thanks!
*
At Nokia shops the price is still RM2088. But Superbuy.my is selling for RM1989. The disadvantage is that it is an online store so you can't look and feel before you plonk down your cash.

since it has real-time multi tasking so means if u open up many many apps the battery will drain up very very fast?
*
Depends on what the apps are doing. If they are just suspended they are not taking much battery.

ohhh i see..for all the hd stuff i thik 64GB is good ample storage..
*
If you mean HD games, 64GB and 16GB is partitioned into the same storage space for apps - 4.2GB. So you can't install more apps on 64GB than 16GB but you have more storage for your own files.

There are more than 1000 apps for N9 now not including the useless RSS feed apps so this may cover most users' needs for the time being. Potential buyers should have a look at the app store first, preferably at My-Meego.com where all the useless RSS feed apps are filtered out before jumping in. If the app store has what you want the number of apps doesn't matter.

If you're under Maxis and have subscribe to data plan, there is a maximum cap of RM250.

*
I think the max cap of RM250 also apply even if you have no data plan but Maxis is perverse in that it doesn't always follow its own rules until customers go and argue with them.

I can't enable my Bluetooth inside my Nokia N9 after quite a while. It kept loading and nothing happens. Already tried to soft reset, hard reset and update using Nokia Software Updater. It issue solved but after sometime (around 1 week after usage), the problem rises again.

Anyone experience the same problem as me? Quite troublesome to keep resetting my N9 sad.gif
*
Since you have already tried all the software solutions without success the problem may be hardware so it may be time to take it to Nokia Care (1U is preferred). I don't think it is a common problem or there will be more complaints in this forum.
