make sure u only tick 'AMD - Display' and no others.

which dv6 model you have? for me i have the dv6-6001tx (manual graphics switch) and i can tell you it works... HOWEVER, i dont know if its me or other models are suffering from the same problem, but i cant seem to get it to boot on its own (means i need to install bootloader on a usb pendrive and boot from it... but i'm not sure if installing mac on a GPT drive will make it work, cuz mine is still MBR)... and the things that work out-of-box is the intel graphics (no ATI), DVD drive, LAN, bluetooth, keyboard, mouse and USB 2 (note: not USB3 on the left side!)

you can install it on virtual machines too... but i dunno the exact way yet

1) i'm not a student anymore, so dont have a student card to flash

2) I'm interested in 6168tx, not 6001tx so the price is still gonna be ard 3999

3) Hoping for PWP at cheaper price at PC Fair (MS office, extended warranty & 3TB hardisk)

Congratz for v4, I just collected back my laptop from HP Service Center(HP Tower), I must say their customer service is really good, the purpose I sent in my laptop is because of two issues, one is the keyboard spacebar has some irritating sound when I press on it but it's working fine another issue was the LCD lid cannot close tightly, amazingly HP change a whole new LCD and a whole new keyboard for me and it was done in just two days after I sent in my laptop.

lol.. yeah, i tried on VM but the performance was not really desirable.


can't really tell much difference other than the colors. guess i need to experience it myself.
