Does anyone have issue playing BF3 with the DV6?

My issue is that it crashes to desktop the moment I "try" to play. Not only that, I'm one of the many that has issues with PB.

So yes, I have reinstall both origin and BF but still nothing works. I'm hoping someone here can help me?

Also, it seems AMD drivers are the issue but I want to check in with the people here. Currently I'm on v. 11.11

I wasted 60 bucks buying this game sadly.

EDIT: I recently screwed up my graphic cards. I manage to get most of it fixed, but now I cannot enter into the catalsyt control center and this was after I update to version 11.11c.

Any help on that?

i previous too do have the same problem as you, cannot enter CCC.
maybe you didn't cleanly uninstall the thing.
what i did is as below

- un-install thru CCleaner
- run the installer to un-install the components
- boot to safe mode, use DriverSweeper to clean leafover components in the system
- re-install HP graphic package
- re-install new AMD graphic package

it works for me thru the steps above....

Dude, the Driver Sweeper is what got me into this mess.

Great now I can't even find my AMD or CCC installed at all. It's not detected.

Can anyone give me a step by step way? And for goodness sake, this is a laptop we are talking about, so I need detailed instructions to get this shit sorted out.

What does it show in Device Manager?

It shows both my display drivers are there.

I seem to be able to run my games fine. But I don't know if there's some hidden issue which I won't know off until I do sth.

My only issue is that my CCC is no longer showing up in CCleaner nor my installed programs and I can't use CCC at all

Open MSIAfterburner.cfg in C:\Programs Files (x86)\MSI Afterburner\ with Notepad.

Did you installed any leaked driver v8.930 before? Regarding CCC.. try go into ..\Packages\Apps\CCC2\Core-Static\, right click ccc-core-static.msi and select Repair or select Install if got error pop out saying u don't have it install in your system.

Okay I try to do what you suggested and I get error and I click OK to terminate the program but the install still went on. And it restarted my laptop.

The only things I reinstalled were the updates from AMD & from the HP download site. I also update the BIOS thing. Basically, I did this http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/documen...cname=c02948560

I think I may need to redo this thing la. Looking at it, my CCC still not working and I did reinstall to both v.8.882 & v.8.830

Some installer stop responding error? I get that too after updating C++ thru windows update.. so nowadays if i can't open CCC i need to use that method to get it back to work.

Btw, what is this mess you get after using Driver Sweeper?

It could be that it wasnt properly installed.

Yes, it will remove all files created by AMD driver. You did tick AMD - Display only right when u use it? Not all.

Okay, when you reformat your laptop, the display drivers are basically "not there" and you would need to install the software in order to have it at its optimize state.

So I basically got that and had to work around that. Anyway I tried to update the v11.11c but it gets stuck halfway. So I dont know what version am I even on at the moment
