EDIT: Checked prices of the dv6 in New Zealand. After exchange rate, even the basic 6001tx here costs 3.5k after conversion T.T My dompet gonna burn la if I buy there. Finding local alternatives nowwww.

huh?? malaysia 6001tx is RM2899 =D without the beats headphone... unless u wan the beats headphone then only it's RM3499 @ Harvey Norman...

Did you installed any leaked driver v8.930 before? Regarding CCC.. try go into ..\Packages\Apps\CCC2\Core-Static\, right click ccc-core-static.msi and select Repair or select Install if got error pop out saying u don't have it install in your system.

Today I got my HP DV6-6186TX.

Specs are:
Intel Core i7-2670QM
8GB DDR3
1TB 5400RPM Toshiba MK1059GSM Drive
Blu-ray Drive BD-RE B11N
15.6" Full HD Screen LGD0259
Radeon HD 6770M with 2GB DDR5

Sad to say, there is no local forum where they discuss this model of HP laptop to this depth and level of understanding. That's why I'm here.

Now proceeding to follow the steps on the first post. smile.gif

ops... typo... RM2699 i mean without the beats headphone ( http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=2127781&hl= ) price negotiable sum more... =D it's up to ur bargaining skill...

well... if u are in singapore sintex / pcfair... it's even more cheaper over there...

I don't know for sure because the TurboCopy utility doesn't let me know, but 3 GB movie transfers in about 1 minute 30 seconds. That's lower than it should be, right?

1. call up thundermatch and ask which branch has the stock for 6001tx...
2. harvey norman with beats headphone RM3499 ( if later u dun wan the headphone... sell it for RM600-700 at lowyat garage sales )

AMD Radeon HD 7690M XT (1 GB GDDR5 dedicated)

I'm guessing a typo? Cause I googled it and it's actually unannounced by AMD lol.

when i switch to ATI, i discovered tat when i minimize/maximize any folder or applications,it wasnt smooth at all.only happen after im playing some games or got playing video or even when i startup my window.its like lag2 one.but when switch b to intel,it smooth again.wat happen actually?
