guys..how does dv6 look if compare to n55sf? wat is da price now @ lowyat for dv6 now without headfon?

tomorro will going there and need some opinions regarding these two lappies..

btw,im comparing wif i5 version of n55sf..da price is 2799 now and same with ur stated price for dv6 which is 2799+its i7..
if compare to asus which is only i5 wiith tat price, eveybody will choose i7 rite..

so now,why is tat dv6 price drop so low from 3k ++??

are there so many problems until drop tat much in order to clear the dv6 stock?

ic..then, can u help me list the latest dv6 model which availble @ lowyat and its price around 2799..bcoz i saw many sell threads stated diff model like DV6-6180US, 6001tx..

what are the diffrnces between them?and which is the latest ?

DV6-6180US are imported set. Not sure if u can claim warranty with HP Malaysia or not. Also, not sure if u can extend the warranty or not. Maybe you could give HP a call and ask them directly. They never reply my in FB.

hmm..mine is normally package..stdd 4gb and 2 years warranty (1 shop + 1 Hp side)

@acid - need ur guide.after i did tis,wat shud i do?1.Download this HP driver. AMD High-Definition Graphics Driver 2011-11-18 , Version:8.882.2.3000, 338.97M.
Don't install it yet.
2.Download and install DriverSweeper 3.2.
3.Go into Control Panel and uninstall AMD Catalyst Install Manager
When uninstall choose this.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «
4.After that restart and enter Safemode. Use DriverSweeper and tick AMD-Display. Scan and clean. Reboot. <-------- not really neccessary but i hate the feeling of having leftover files in my system.

5.Install the HP AMD driver u download in the 1st step and reboot.



Optional: Now you can install any official/unofficial AMD driver on top of HP driver. Your selection will vary depending on the driver source.

after ive done the step 5 above,do i need to go amd website and dol and install the latest driver?is tat wat u mean?

big problem..!the uninstallation of AMD driver still in progress but suddenly blank screen happn!!!wat i must do!help!

before and after install new AMD stil tat hang problem occur.

its jus hang...not BSOD...no blinking too..
just static and i cant do a shit even Alt+Shift+delete...
so, i need to press switch off button for about 5++ sec to shutdown the laptop...

do i need to flash bios..mine currently F.07

da one tat u mentioned before..

just ended there.i din install any official driver from AMD site..

i want to noe,any changelog regarding tis new driver from da previos driver??wat are fixed?

and 1 more, wat means by da new bios has the manual switching in bios (fixed/dynamic)?
if we switch to fixed.then the whole time our laptop will using ATi without change to intel HD?

ic ic..hmmm..yes.tat hang happen at random time..even when i move my cursor around or even while clicking the folder/apss and so on..
i tried switch betwween intel and amd and it works and no problem after i install the new driver....


so,wat u think???tis hang problem never happen when i plugged in btery w/o plugin poower plug..
