ZeneticX,
I think it's normal for screen to turn off when u close the lid. If u dun want the laptop to sleep when u close the lid, then u can set from advanced power options. |

Mine even worse. After i click BF3.exe. Nothing happens but can see the process in task manager. Then the process disappears after a while. Mine is ahem version....
